| I thought it was very significant that Hardaker was entrusted with taking the kickoffs on the Rhinos rightside defence where McGuire normally stands.
He looked very assured under all the high kicks he had to take.
He looks to have very good hands which bodes well for the future, a most assured 2nd start.

| He has played a fair bit at FB for Fev in the past so i guess that was the thinking behind it.
A very good prospect imo and hopefully he'll continue to improve and earn his spot in the 17.

| Regarding his positioning from kick-offs, i thought that he looked very assured under those high kicks
For a kid that has played so few senior professional games he looks like a very talented kid, he never got dragged in whilst defending out wide and although he didn't get much service for large parts of the game he certainly showed how well he can finish when the chances came his way
He certainly looks like being a very shrewd signing, Definitely not only one for now but more so for the future

| Great prospect and would love to give him a good run of games which appears likely at present.

| Agree with all of the above, spoke to zac after the game seems to have a really good attitude and confident, loves playing at HQ, got great pace annd seems to be able to spot an opportunity, where the try line is concerned lomg may it continue.

| During Webb's absence Mac should contemplate putting Hardaker at full back with Smith on the wing. Hardaker playes with assurity and his main asset is his speed which would be ideal for chasing back. He would be ideal at taking the inside pass to break the line like Webb does and Smith occasionally. If he reads it well and makes the break I am sure he would have the confidence to round the full backl Smith hasn't the pace to do that.

He probably will naturally fill out a bit, he's only young. To be honest though he doesn't look out of his depth and there's no need for every player on the pitch to be hulking great athletes.

| Doesn't he see himself as more of a fullback than wing? Interesting that BJB, Watkins and Hardaker have all done well on the right wing (and we have another option in Smith), when we need two of them at least to do as well in other positions (left centre for Watkins hopefully). When BJB and Watkins return fit it will be interesting to see where they play - or whether two of them will be out of the side.

In the last four games Leeds have started with four different players out there on the right wing rusaders), Watkins ( Castleford), Smith ( Crusaders), Hardaker ( Catalans)
Hopefully someone will break that sequence.
