Does anyone know what the layout will be in the new southstand? I think we need some standing areas at least.

All seater , and it will be alot bigger than the current stand . St Michaels Lane will run underneath the rear of it .

Could we not have a Southstander cake stall? Bring in a bit of extra cash for Mr Southstander.com and we all get cake.

I did tell 'The Sleeve', when he asked about food outlets for the new stand, that he should seriously consider an offer that sold cake! My only worry is that he gets sucked into to going with the current 'cake' trend and opens a cup-cake franchise!

As for the less serious stuff of cake, leave the South Stand update with me a couple of days (heading to the smoke on the train at the moment) and I will see what the word is on the construction grapevine!

However, the new surf-world (incorporating cake-island) will take up the whole of the car park and allotments over the bridge!

If they extend it enough to reach the train track, we could have our own station!
