After last weeks dismal result, the team will have to be very wary of a Warrington side that looked very good against St Helens. I am hoping that Leuluai's injury isnt bad and just a knock, otherwise we will be very light in the front row. Hopefully Brent webb will be back this week and at a push, Ryan Bailey. If hes out, I think Brad Singleton might get a chance this week:

Brent Webb
Ben Jones Bishop
Kallum Watkins
Keith Senior
Ryan Hall
Kevin Sinfield
Rob Burrow
Kylie Leuluai
Danny Buderus
Luke Burgess
Jamie Jones-Buchanan
Ali Lauitiiti
Chris Clarkson

Ben Cross
Brad Singleton
Ian Kirke
Weller Hauraki

Jay Pitts
Paul McShane

Kylie mentions having a scan on Monday during his Yorkshire Radio interview Adam so lets hope yer right that it's not too serious.

Just so we're clear...

You think the way to go about beating a Warrington team that just totally outclassed a near full strength Saints side, the week after we've lost to Quins at Headingley... is to introduce Brad Singleton?

I was just thinking the same thing myself. Why would you thrown in inexperience when you need to regroup.

If Webb, Bailey etc are back, fine. If not, give the lot from last week a chance to redeem themselves.

He did'nt post that did he?
Re-read it he clearly says he "thinks" Brad Singleton may get a call up if we are still carrying injuries to certain players and i think the fact Brian Mc mentioned that the youngster was close to a call up this week it's a fair thought to put.
Gotcha i'm surprised at you mate ,you ALWAYS tell other posters to check what you've posted before "Jumping in"! icon_wink.gif

If he McDermott plays Brad Singleton this week, there will be people calling for his head already. Not me, you understand. But PEOPLE.

I'm all for giving youngsters a go and not picking people "just because of a name" but giving someone a debut against Wire, away, at this particular point of his coaching career is suicide.

Yet if he scored the match winning try, McDermott would be a hero!

No doubt there will be questions asked but your original dig at Frosties was through mis-reading his original post.
If the Coach thinks Singleton is ready and others are not fit then what should he do??
Look back at some of the debuts other youngsters have made RR they all need a chance at some point IF the coach think they're ready then lets back him and the team.

Let's hope Web is fit - the Sinfield/Burrow combination simply doesn't work - playing with 2 half backs doesn't - for whatever reason - suit Leeds' attacking style.

We need somehow to generate some go forward from our props - something that we have struggled with since Peacock's demise.

We must have the slowest set of 3/4's in the competition - what has happened to Ryan Hall's pace and Lee Smith's!!

Having said all that still think we can win - provided we can control Briars!!

Then my apologies, because I read it differently.

I thought this thread that was always started with suggestions of what the team would be. My comment was simply that the last thing we needed was inexperience, but a regrouping. I wasn't having a dig at frosties about it, just giving my opinion.

Hall and Smith were never that quick to begin with. Saying that Smith looks very low on confidence at the minute, and looks a little rattled.

Cos he knows McDermott will have no problems dropping him if he doesn't play well.

He's used to being an automatic choice, you see, he was MOM in the GF two and a half years ago don'tcha know! icon_wink.gif
