Without naming names, does anyone know if an NRL life-ban will be applicable worldwide? Because one of the guys is scheduled to come to Super League next year, and *all* of the others, on ability alone, could do. Leeds would bite hands off for a couple of them, if allowed.

IIRC there is no mechanism for extending it worldwide due to there being no worldwide governing body as there is in athletics, football etc.

Were either Greg Bird or Tevita Leo-Latu banned by the NRL before they rocked up in SL, or had they just been fired by their respective clubs?

How do they enforce a drugs ban then? - is that because the sport signs up to some global arrangement?

Think thats through the WADA that drug bans are upheld/enforced.
