| Remember JP hailing his debut as the best he has seen. Could be one for the future for sure but lets remember Amor played 27 blinders in National League last season....suddenly he doesn't look very promising.

| Signing for Batley from what I can gather. He's been a good, consistent player at Featherstone this season, I would quite happily see him at the club next season. Whether he is a top Super League player is a tough call, not yet, another year in the Championship plus another 2 stone on him then maybe!

| Manning looked very much like a younger version of the Gareth Ellis we had at Leeds (not the Wakey version) which is very positive news. He will go well a Leeds when the time comes.
I'd also look to sign Zak Hardacre, and then immediately loan him back to Fev for the season so he can keep improving out of the spotlight. He's another who could go a long way.

| If you want to sign Zak Hardaker get your money out, he signed a 3 year deal a month or two back.
Zak Hardaker reminds me of Karl Pratt, but much better.

Don't have an issue paying for him. I'd say it would be reasonable that we pay Fev the equivalent value of the contract he has signed. He's 18 years old (according to the Sky commentary team anyway) so it's not like you have had him for years and years and have committed a lot of funds into his development.
3 year contract, must be what 30-50k? Seems like a fair deal?
btw, having seen plenty of Karl Pratt, I'm not sure I see the similarity, but I guess you have seen more of Hardacre than I have on Sky the few times Fev have been on this year.

| Yes that Karl Pratt. Out of interest Bramley Rhino, is there a player he reminds you of?
When Karl was at Featherstone, he was a pacey, confident, weedy winger, the same as Zak is. Leeds bought him for 100k after his Eng appearance and bulked him up too quickly and it took a while for him to come through the system and never became the same player again imo.
Now if Zak was to sign for you, I think the same would happen, ideally Zak is better off completing his 3 years at the club learning his trade in the Championship and then stepping up in 2015, either as a Full Back (natural position) or Winger, in which he's scored nearly 20 tries in 13 games.
Please note Zak scored as many tries against Warrington as you did in the Final!
Zak has played a part at Featherstone Lions & I think the scholarship system (not sure on the facts of the last bit).
Seeing many players at Featherstone who have stepped up in Super League in recent years - Jamie Rooney, Richard Whiting, Tom Briscoe, Danny Kirmond etc, there is no reason why Zak cannot be another player who can step up too.
Oh and hands off!

I'd say becoming a pi$$ head hardly helped him either and if you think we bulked him up too quickly check the difference between him at Leeds and then at the Bulls!

That's not accurate mate.
He also had a long, successful, problem with gambling.

| What last nights match highlighted and the season as a whole for Fev, is once again what an extremely under rated coach Daryl Powell is.
He did it here with reshaping the first team and bringing youngsters through, yet it gets completely swept under the carpet by some. Then he goes to Fev and does it all over again.
It must be some massive coincidence if his one or the other is just ignored. He's completely reshaped Fev, and brought younsters through.

| Darryl has done a great job at Fev, and it given that it's unlikely (but not impossible) for them to ever get into SL, Leeds should look to form a partnership with Fev under which we can send them some juniors for development (like Manning and Coady, although the latter seems as though it hasn't worked out) and in return we get first refusal on their home developed players for fair compensation.
I agree completely that Darryl has been a major figure for a number homegrown players, and there is no reason why that can't continue, albeit from a distance.

| Darryl has said he will never get a dual reg player again, he said the system doesn't work for the club and will stick with loan players. I think that is fair, it didn't work and the loan system is always the better case for both clubs don't you think?
As for a development between Leeds & Fev, there is already one to an extent, no idea what they are, but Leeds have sponsored several games this season (the only ones we've lost!). I'm not sure with regards to junior development, we have a newly formed structure in place (for next season) that will see a scholarship system, academy (SL) and then if they are good enough First Team. All of this is already in place, except a SL Academy side.
I would image DP (Powell) will sign an additional 3 year deal in the next few weeks that will see his contract expire in 2015.
DP has used a similar structure as to what is in place at Leeds, both on and off the field. So thanks!
