hull a good side. there forwards as as powerful as the best pack. they now
have their no1 half back partnership and brisco/yeamon in the centres. i thought
hull might of edged before the game but after, fair play. great comeback. it
was the weekend's fixture and the most intriging for the past 2/3 weeks.

leeds are a quality, quality side. when everyones back to fitrness, and even
a few players are missing then theyll be fine. everyone has their moments.
under brian johnson back in 93 i think, we got battered by saints 80-0.
it's the opposite with leeds. you seem be able to pull the rabbt out the hat.
i think you can turn wigan over at home if your players believe. hudds did
3 weeks ago and bradford weren't that far off. your have the forwards there
to do it even without jp and theyll give the platform for your halfbacks to play.

Leeds have been shaky (to say the least) in the last few weeks but Wigan haven't exactly shined either. Their record at the DW Stadium has been poor towards the end of the season. So, I'm not gonna completely write Leeds off (despite missing almost a complete pack through injury). If we could finally get a ref with the bottle to stand up to Wigans tactics of slowing down the ptb then we'd have a better chance too

Possibly, but we could eitherway, home advantage in the semi is definatley worth the effort! |
