| 1) What was wrong with the north stand touch judge after Smiths try? Appeared to be rubbing his head - was something thrown? Did anyone else see this? Hopefully nothing worse than being hit by a spat out dummy or a toy out of a pram.....
2) Who was the numbnut who ran across the pitch at the end to the south stand and chanted "I'm Wigan till I die!"

Very generous of the chaps that - as Wigan dont have a ground of their own, did they give them the posts (also known as the sticks) so they could go away and build their own stadium on Tescos car park - scene of their great days perhaps??
The sticks? Speak english old boy! This has been discussed elsewhere and had Wigan ever crossed our try line they would not have walked up field and celebrated infront of their fans now would they??

| You dont have your own ground.
dont be so stupid.
Edit: Yes, celebrated, i doubt been so unproffesional, to give other teams fans the sticks, alright fine. A rude gesture. The matter of the fact that you actually support your own club, and dont even know they share there pitch, and then are so naive, to call another club because they share a ground. is stupid.

Edit
Actually we do own the ground. Headingley is owned by Leeds CF&A. Leeds Rhinos is a trading name of Leeds CF&A as recognised by the RFL.
The DW Stadium is owned by Wigan Athletic FC. Wigan Football Club Ltd is the company name for the Wigan Warriors who rent use of the ground.

Yeah, would love to be able to trawl back for some of the threads on that one
I remember one Wiganer claiming that it "could have killed someone"

| Far too much being made of the Leeds players celebrating at the wigan end. Their fans have normally left well before the 79th minute.
