| Yes there was no intention by Senior, just unlucky the guy got caught. BBC and Davis gave it some airtime in their post match analysis, though no mention of the dangerous tackle on Delany in the first half though. cant remember who the Wigan player who did it was but Im assuming it will be a trip to Red Hall for a two match ban?

| It's not exactly the first time Leeds players have been caught kicking out at Wigan players in a high profile match is it?
Lee Smith's stamp on Phil Bailey's face in '08 for example.

dont be silly, granted the tackle was bad, but not worth a two match ban, imo it was accidental and coley never meant to spear him, just to drive him back.
I also disagree with the "late" challenge on mcguire, liam farrell clearly jumped to block the ball, and jumped into mcguire on purpose. Mcguire milked it, and got a man sin binned.

Indeed. was Brent Webbs tackle against Warrington really worth two games then?

I believe they practice it in training. They have tackle dummies with the faces of Wigan players cut out and stuck on.

| Kicking out at the tackle is illegal though isn't it? ( correct me if i'm wrong)
That was a big kick motion though, certainly bigger than most you see.
It was definitely accidental though so it would be hard to justify sin-binning him.
However if it was a player from your own team being kicked you'd want somebody walking for a kick in the face.

Take a look on the Wigooon board, "Many, Many clueless mo-foes on there".
Well done from a Wire, was cursing your "go for goal" tactics throughout the game, but am more than happy to be proven wrong. Toughed that out "Big Time" for 78mins, then came up with the big play when it mattered, congrats to Leeds!!!

| I thought Senior was unlucky to be penalised, penalised because it connected.
For me Coley's tackle was worse than Mounis, so if theres any consistency, then he should receive a ban too.
I thought the ref had a good game generally, with a few decisions maybe incorrect but going both ways.

| For me the fact that Senior kicked out so hard was entirely due to frustration at the Wigan tactics of constantly holding down and slowing the PTB. Fair enough, he caught Tomkins but not on purpose, he was just kicking out to try and show that he felt he was being impeded. If the ref had clamped down on the lying on in the first place, then it wouldn't have happened.

As soon as it hits the iPlayer I'll watch it back - didn't bother recording it as the BBC's coverage really winds me up.
