Jesus H Christ – It’s as if the RFL are determined to make a fool of this sport at every opportunity.

I’ve made no secret about my feelings towards the RFL and this simply adds to my dislike for these muppets.

Must say I've had someone from the RFL phone me to try and flog me the weekend.

You can't even get back by train after the game, playing right in to the hands of greedy Edinburgh hotelier's pockets.

Why is it ALWAYS us on last at some obscure time ?

Oh the joy last year when there was someone else on after us and you could get the last train back to Yorkshire.

A fundamental thats often written about concerning marketing is continuity of a brand slogan to get it into the target audiences consiousness.How the chuff this looks like encouraging anyone to understand what the event is about beats me.Obviously us fans in any discussion using 'magic weekend' is clearly wrong.
I didn know whether to laugh or cry when the mailshot from REDHALL landed through the letterbox.
As always,with any issue, no one from RFL HQ ever proactively discusses criticism with us the customer.

I thought "follow the piper" last year was bad. Wacky races eh? christ!!

Mind you we have secured transport, hotel and tickets for 4 days for a reasonable £180, so there are deals to be had.

Sharing an apartment has worked out best for us. 9 of us plus a 3 month old works out at just over £25 p.p.p.n.

Hoefully the RFL will put this farcical, badly attended event out of it's misery this year.

What about somewhere else? I know Ireland was mooted but the travel will no doubt affect this. Both Millenium and Murreyfield IMO were too big a venue, the latter having transport issues as were discussed last year. What about Newcastle. St James not too big but a fair capacity, with the town on it's doorstep, like Millenium, a big seller for me, food & drink, transport, places to stay etc. Easier to get to for the majority than the other 2. Just a thought.

Looks like I'm going to have some fun looking at marketing techniques used by the RFL in my dissertation next year!
