when the club are handing out grand final tickets I hope they take into account those who have attended both play-off games and give them first refusal on the tickets and not those bandwaggoning.

Friday will see me attending my 4th playoff game in 14 days.

Real fans of the game would already have purchased tickets from the RFL regardless of the result.

Bandwaggoning is a term that is very misunderstood on here. I can assure you that people who do attend the grand finals and big days out within rugby league were probably once much like ourselves with plenty of time and money on our hands.

Not a Friday night goes by when I hear about Leeds (different sport I know but come on) United fans 11 years supporting the club both home and away in the 80s / 90s and now only go to the big matches. Circumstances change for people all the time including myself in the last few years thanks to my financial stability.

I’m sure the club will give the tickets out to good people and if it goes out to that one person whose been a (very rare) freeloader all their life then its just bad luck. But at least have some consideration and though before you use that term again please
