What are your thoughts on Jodie and how he is progressing. I have seen him a few times in the academy and now for Hull in SL. The last time was when Hull were on Sky and he looked one of the better players in a poor side, obvious try he conceded apart! Amazing pace, good hands and knows how to score. Could he be our centre problem solved??? Realise we have just signed the guy from Donnie but i'd rather see home grown talent promoted.

I've liked what I've seen of him at Hull. Makes you wonder where the management heads are when retaining Scott Donald for 2010 with this lad on the books waiting for his chance, especially given the cost saving aspect.

Totally agree, but dont want to go after Scotty too much, he's having a bit of a bad year but already been discussed. I see Jodie as centre rather than wing.

And we also have Kallum, who i see as a better winger than centre.

Think he’ll turn out to be a top draw player – the try he conceded last week showed that the lad has a bit of intelligence too. OK he conceded a try but IMHO I saw a player that was being bundled over the line, was losing the ball so tried to ground it (just didn’t quite make it).

He has speed and skills to make it in SL

When Buley realises that Hall would make a cracking centre I can see Jodie as Hall’s wing man.

Broughton was unlucky with the video ref call. It could just as easily been called tackle complete after his arm with the ball hit the deck.

I was half expecting a scrum 10 with head and feed to Wakefield there.

my thoughts exactly. Once again Donald is being put to shame by someone with desire, work rate and not being a softcock. I just pray our ade gardner clone (only worse) is not on much of a wedge, otherwise the chairman has made another faux paus by extending his contract.

The ball was taken out of broughton's hand in a 3 on one tackle. It was a lousy call.

Donald is having a rough patch and I think Watkins and Hall should be selected ahead of him this week.

When on form he is still the best winger at our club and possibly the league.

I doubt the management at Headingley would sacrifice that for a fairly unproven talent.

If only you had such faith in Watkins and or Gibson for the cenrte jersey eh?

Actually Watkins is his (sucessful) reserve team centre - wing combination

When has Hall played at centre?

He hasn’t – but it’s my personal crusade to let him have a spell at centre, I think he’s got the skill set and work rate that would suit the centre position.

I should be Head Coach…!!!

When i've seen him I've thought to myself that he'd have decent skills and attributes to be a decent centre, glad i'm not the only one who thinks so.

And there I was thinking I was the only one – but does that just make two of us that are slightly mad?

You only have to look at the success Saints seem to be having in grooming Scott Moore to be Cunningham's replacement to see the value in this particular loan deal. Apart from a couple of dodgy moments Broughton looked very good on Saturday, and i'm sure he definitely has a part to play in Leeds future. The couple of years he's had on loan (admittedly still not a regular first teamer) can only benefit Leeds. More so than him playing in the reserves in any case.

I don't think it'd be too much of a surprise to see hall end up at centre or even second row!!
