| It's back. Old hat and unimproved.
I have no access to any official records. The last Leeds statistical reference book I own is the Headingley story Volume 2 by the late, great Ken Dalby. Unfortunately space didn't allow Ken to record players with less than 10 appearances and that's a real bummer.
1979/80 season onwards it's all my own work and it may or may not be perfect (and it certainly isn't interesting or amusing) but hey I do my best.
Everything you read will be 1st class competitive fixtures only (no friendlies, testimonials, pre season warm ups etc) at 1st team (1st grade) level.
The Castleford game will be Leeds' 400th since the start of the SL Era in 1996
Leeds' next loss will be their 100th in the SL Regular Rounds
Leeds' record in this particular fixture at Wheldon RoadBrian McClennan has made the best start of any Leeds coach in the SL Era in terms of remaining undefeated in all games,5. However the best start by a Leeds coach in the Regular Rounds is still (at this point) Graham Murray with 9 straight (Tony Smith had 8 )
Should they play tonightKeith Senior needs 3 tries to equal Francis Cummins' record of 136 tries for Leeds in the SL Era (All fixtures). Scott Donald needs 1 try to bring up his 50 for Leeds in his 71st consecutive appearance. Gareth Ellis needs 8 points to bring up his personal century and yes Rob Burrow still needs one try for a century of touchdowns for Leeds.
Sorry for the edits, it's just as new thoughts crop up.

| Now that Rob Burrow has finally scored his 100th (102nd as we speak) Try, he has become the 1st player to do so whilst also kicking over 100 Goals during the SL Era at Leeds.
Leeds' 100+ Goal club only has 5 members and Burrow needs 4 more (two pointers) to overtake Graham Holroyd and move himself up to 3rd on the list. It's perhaps worth pointing out that Andy Farrell has kicked 107 Goals (not including DG's) whilst playing against Leeds during the SL Era and Paul Deacon is also closing in on his personal ton with 94.
Looking back to Bradford it was Jamie Jones-Buchanan's 150th Appearance and also Gareth Ellis' 100th.
JJB is the 12th player to make 150 Appearances for Leeds during the SL Era.
Ellis became the 24th Leeds player to reach the ton. He has never started on the bench for Leeds so his 100th Appearance was also his 100th Start naturally enough. He still requires 8 Points to bring up his personal century. No pressure but get on with it.
Brent Webb's hat-trick V Bradford has given him the current best Try scoring ratio per Appearance for Leeds of the SL Era. That is after excluding the non representative 1 in 1 type anomalies such as Ben Kaye.
Player0.88
Danny McGuire0.81
Danny Williams0.80
Mark Calderwood0.74
Scott Donald0.73
Marcus Bai0.71
And finally (for now) Leeds need 1 point to bring up 12,000 (All Comps) since the start of SL in 1996.

Maybe you should do like cricket and have a minimum number of appearances (innings) before the stats start to count ? (Say 5 or 10 ?)

Cheers, batley.
I thought Webb had scored more than that this season.

| 2 and a half Superleague games without conceding a try, surely that is some sort of record?
It's a hell of an achievement regardless.

| The St Helens V Leeds fixture will be game number 1,999 of the SL Regular Rounds. The honour of being the 2,000th game is going to Wigan V Wakefield kicking off half an hour later.
The next try Leeds score will be their 1,700th in the SL Reg Rds.
The next place goal Leeds kick will be their 1,500th in the SL Reg Rds.
Of the 1,499 place goals kicked (from above) Kevin Sinfield has planted 666 (one for fans of the Occult, the Omen and Genesis)
This week's coincidence (haven't had one of these before mind) is:
Carl Hall: PL 10 + 2 subs, 6 tries
Ryan Hall: PL 10 + 2 subs, 5 tries (bugger)
Having touched on Goals against last week, here are the top try scorers against Leeds of the SL Era:
19 - Robbie Paul
16 - Lesley Vainikolo, Paul Sculthorpe
14 - Anthony Sullivan, Paul Newlove, Gareth Raynor
12 - Tevita Vaikona, Keiron Cunningham, Henry Paul
11 - Leon Pryce, Henry Fa'afili
10 - Anthony Stewart, Kris Radlinski, Jon Wells, Jason Robinson, James Lowes
And Finally
In Memory of the recently departed:
Jamie Thackray: PL 6 + 28, 7 tries, 28 Points.
Debut: 4th August 2006 (Hull 23 Leeds 16)
Full Debut: 18th August 2006 (Wakefield 12 Leeds 14)
Headingley Debut: 11th August 2006 (Leeds 18 Wigan 20)
Headingley Full Debut: 1st September 2006 (Leeds 54 Warrington 16)
Longest Run Of Consecutive Appearances: 27
Longest Run Of Consecutive Starts: 3
Final Appearance: 7th September 2007 (Leeds 6 Hull 17)
Edit: And after the stuff up on the Hall's tries I don't think we'll be having another for a while either.

Would it then be fair to assume that they're not the most successful? Otherwise presumably they'd be on the list.
