Went to Kallum Watkins......bit surprised. He's had a good season but would've had a few ahead of him
2nd - McGuire
3rd - Ward
Again, no Cuthbertson or Hardaker is a surprise.
Cuthbertson got Fans player of the year, Ash Handley the Shooting Star, Jordan Lilley u19's award and Peacock's try vs Saints in the cup semi as try of the season.

Well, imo Cuthbertson is MOS so obviously i would have given him our POY. How he isn't top 3 is shocking. I wouldn't have Watkins (goes missing too often) or Ward (he was out for a chunk of the season) in my top 3.McGuire i agree with.
Very strange choices indeed.

Stevie Ward has been immense. Cuthbo nice and flashy with the offloads, Zak and KW very entertaining and play with a lot of freedom and off the cuff. Ward is a coaches dream though. None stop tackling workhorse who does the unnoticed hard stuff

I totally agree on Ward. For me the only one mentioned that has been totally consistent. I would have had Cuthbertson there too. I wouldn't have had McGuire, due to the complete opposite of Ward, simply not consistent. Better on his day, but not consistent to have a player of the year vote.

Up until the One Halfback fiasco I'd say McGuire was consistent and would have been in contention. Aiton, Cuthbertson and Hardaker just edging him. I've no idea why Watkins has been chosen.
Ward has had a good year and has massive potential.
