It does say he made no profit so I don't understand why he would risk it, he's getting to that age where if it would of been any longer he would have to retire.

Without knowing the details that seems harsh.(albeit with a lot of the ban in the off season, like Flower, so makes it sound worse)
Long n Gleeson profited themselves and got significantly less.

I think Richie will be more bothered about it tarnishing his name. It looks bad on him but after reading various reports about the details it seems pretty pathetic and unjust.

Players know the rules. If you've got any sense you ensure you stay well within them.
If you get caught breaking them - presuming he has, no matter how marginally - then I've not got a lot of sympathy.
