Vickery is trialing for centre i believe so why would they put him on the wing?

Not sure that is the case. They are looking at him for cover across the back and now they have Moon it is not necessarily a Centre they need.
Chisolm will still be at Carneige so they need some one for the wing.

Dont forget Vickery is also untested so I doubt they will put him at FB to start with either, although he might get a run there during the game at some point. IMO of course

As you say, with Moon now signed and with Ablett and Hardaker for centre cover we look well set there so he will probably have to have a storming pre season to get a deal.

I think Leeds will offer him a 12 month deal anyway - if not for his Rugby, it will be just to keep Achurch company in his house so he doesn't get home sick. Its not unheard of!!

I would be very surprised if McGuire plays on Boxing Day.

It's only a marketing ploy to get all us saps to buy tickets for the game.
I say "us saps" because I bought my tickets yesterday.
I also took a look at the new pitch & believe that the new posts are as tall as the old ones.

Maybe, but I don't think that Mcguire playing would be the one factor which effects wither a fan goes or not, which is why it would seem odd he would specifically say he was looking forward to playing for the first time in 6 years or so, just for it to be a 'marketing ploy.'
