have been the voices of the game on Sky for a long time and I sometimes think they get a bit of unecessary stick but they were an embarrassment tonight.

Calling Danny Orr, Danny McGuire and mixing up McShane and Kirke were bad enough but the way they constantly harped on about the forward passes without ever showing an angle which proved it one way or the other was a disgrace. It's never, that's 50:50, it's always miles forward or fine according to Stevo. On the tries I'd have probably given all 3 (their 2 and Jonesy's) but they were all tough calls, not cut and dried as they made out.

Also the hit by chase on Sinfield, while not dirty by any stretch was clearly high as he copped him on the jaw. Stevo, despite numerous replays spent the next 5 minutes saying he'd hit his chest and his head had jarred back. Just watch it, it's not difficult to see what's happened!

And as for the 3 forward passes...I think the 2nd Cas 'try' was definitely just forwards. They were all close but Stevo has to always go against Leeds. Not sure why he is so anti-Leeds.

Phil Clarke was surprisingly pro-Leeds today though, or maybe that was just in comparison to Stevo!

Absolutely agree even when proved wrong you get the "well i'm not convinced" sh#te from him time to ditch the blind old cliche'd buffoon and switch to the likes of Carney ,Wells and Bill Arthur.

I agree and I've defended him before as I quite like the character but he is arguing black is white at times! A nightmare
