| I for one, think he had another real good game tonight. I know Emma posted a thread on Sunday stating that we were a more potent attacking threat when Diskin was on the field than when Buderus was, and yet again I feel compelled to agree tonight.
We looked to have more shape and structure to our play and a lot more go forward when Diskin was on the field. Surely he has to start next weekend?

| Yup, and despite showing far better than his much more expensive, luxury, counterpart, he had to shift to another position for his second stint whilst Buderus remained as ineffective at 9.

| The only reason Buderus is in the team is because Bluey owes him money for a game of cards he lost last year!
(Well it's the only thing that males sense because surely it's not for his gaming ability )
Give Disko the number 9 back I say!

| maybe it would help if those around buderus could read him, diskin slows the game down to a pace the leeds ineffective halves can cope with, suppose the sand pit don't help.

| i thought buderus had an excellent game. his distribution was crisp and sharp and he made a big contribution to the webb try, by sucking in 3 defenders and offloading.

| im not knocking diskin but buderus's acheivments speak volumes, in aussie he had the Kimmorleys, johns & lockyers around him. the fact neither of leeds half backs are play makers does not help.
Maybe buderus is a luxury leeds did not need to spend so much on, but please don't tell me diskins better.

Diskins achievements for Leeds speak for themselves. Buderus has achieved diuddly squat with Leeds so far.
I am a Leeds fan and I couldn't give a tuppeny s[ihi[/it what Buderus did at Newcastle, NSW or Australia. I do care about what Diskin has done for Leeds.
At the moment, Diskin is the form hooker of the two and I also believe the balance of the team is better with Buderus on the bench. That should be all that matters unless you think so little of Leeds RLFC and so much more about what an Aussie did in Australia.

Have to disagree in part Tad, I though other than two big hits after Webb gave away a needless penalty he brought little to the game.
Diskin seemingley suits the style of play better IMO.
Buderus as good as he has been over the years has shown little at Leeds to justify his signing.

Just look at this thread, putting the posts in different order.
There's your preview of next week's edition.

I sometimes wonder if these other posters giving a love in to Diskin are so far biased it is effecting their thoughts.
The ones saying Diskin had a good game, answer honestly, did you not notice the 3 occassions that he passed the ball behind a man to the floor straight from dummy half? How many times have you seen that in a game previosuly?
That said, I am not however saying that Buderus does not need to improve big time.

There are no disputing Buderus’ achievements and dismissing them on such a whim is a little blasé. These are the achievements that got him a deal with the Rhinos in the first place.
He is/was a world class hooker and that’s why Bluey signed him – but… I agree with you that his achievements with Leeds don’t add up to a heap of beans up to press and Disko is re-finding his form and making Buderus look a little unnecessary.
I am really finding it hard to understand why we need two hookers on the pitch at the same time though.
