Just wondered if anyone heard what got said between Barrie and Eddie towards the end of tonights commentary.

I left the room to come back to Eddie mentioning something about Barrie handing in his notice or something....

Just wondered if it was a joke or what had been said?

Hemmings was trying to get Barrie to spill the beans on how the Rhinos organisation will handle the club call.
You may recall he tried this with Bluey with similar lack of success on SL extra time on Friday.
Barrie said it would be more than his job's worth to tell him.

Something was said that was interesting though Barrie and Stevo both managed to tip Leeds to win the Championship while Clarkey was, no doubt, sulking somewhere in a corner dribbling on about St Helens, Wigan and Les Catalans.

Yes, but it would be boring if everybody tipped us.
& very worrying given their record as tipsters over the years.
I'd rather they tipped every other team, except Barrie who shouldn't be asked.

This weekend Clarke has kept it interesting then by tipping everyone....... oh hold on a minute..... everyone bar Leeds.

I'm not the only one who's noticed then. How he always puts a negative slant on everything leeds.

Except for during Saints match when he said how good Leeds looked in comparison to the scousers

he then said he still fancied saints to win it though

Phil Clarke should not be placed in the same bracket as Eddie and Stevo. After the Warrington game it was him who stuck up for Leeds in the face of their inane ramblings about how Leeds were lucky.

Strangely enough in the same game scenario the night before Saints were super Saints for doing the same as Leeds had.

He also spouted on how Jamie Peacock was Leeds best signing (which may well be true), but qualified it by saying how Peacock had turned Leeds from "also rans" into Champions. I guess he's blanked 2004 as a fluke then.
