Word of warning, the place shuts on Sundays.
We no longer stay over in Perpignan, but when we did, I enjoyed warm nights sitting outside the Cafe De La Post with a drink or two. Beer ain't cheap in Perpignan.

The main bars in the centre of Perpignan will be open Easter Sunday, (they won't miss out on cashing in on their annual Rhinos fixture) but there isn't that many to choose from.
Your best bet is to get on the bus to Canet Plage. 2 Euros on the bus and takes about half an hour. Perpignan at Easter is pleasant but still quite cool, so don't think you'll be drinking beers on the beach, but it's a great day out.

canet is worth a visit and try wembley bar run by ex french rugby league player,they do great pizza and great steak and chips,we are staying again tihs year in calella(spain) and travel up for the day

wembley bar is in canet not far from the beach,down a side street,a minute or so walk as you get off the bus.last time we went they also had framed shirts on the walls

Perpignan shuts on a Sunday and with Easter being a national holiday I wouldn't expect too much to be open for the whole weekend.

a very nice seaside village called collioure about 10 miles away can get by train or bus well worth going
