I am 14, 5 foot 7/8, and weigh just under 9 stone. I have decent pace, but am not the quickest, and have great evasive skills and a decent passing game.

At 14 I wouldn't tie yourself to any particular position. You are likely to continue to develop further which could take you in a different direction.



What you should do is try to develop good all round rugby skills, then whatever role you end up in you will be a better player for it.



The first reason is that a player with additional skills is always better, eg a forward with good hands, or a halfback with great defence.

Secondly, teams at any level value flexability, and if you can fill a number of positions you are likely to get much better game time
