| Read in League Express we've sold 28,000 so far, that's ok for now but i'd hope we sell at least double that. What would be a good crowd for this game and what is a realistic target?

60k would be a good crowd. Realistically we'll be lucky to sell 40k. The level of marketing that has been done on this is pretty disappointing to be honest. Surely there was some way the RFL could have worked a bit harder to get clubs selling tickets and putting on coach travel?

| Personally, if they were going to do this they should have gone to the Millennium Stadium. Wales are playing so hopefully some local interest, it is also more "fan friendly" ie you can leave the stadium to go to Greggs etc to stock up on cake. At Wembley you are stuck with nothing around for miles.

| The RFL did some pretty good ticket offers for community clubs. I got a ticket for the double header & an England shirt for £35. Bargain.

| As I posted on the VT, if you are looking to buy tickets at this point for you and friends, you have to pay £35+ for your tickets, unless you have a code which gives you £45 tickets for £25. All this when the stadium is not even a third sold out. Complete farce.

| I just received my first piece of marketing! Well done RFL. No discounts, but it does tell me that it is possible to see firework displays in London....
Still, it reminded me to book my train tickets. £25 return, not bad by UK standards.

| Sometimes I don't think the RFL understand what a Loss Leader is. The whole 4 Nations should be a Loss Leader ahead of the RLWC. Give free tickets to local schools.... Offer Kids transport at cost ect... Sell out the large grounds and let the sport sell itself.

There would be half the interest if this was in Cardiff. The whole idea is IRL back at Wembley - the national stadium.

| So has anyone got an idea of how the sales are going? This time last week they were around the 30k mark so i'd hope at least another 10k on top of that by now.

If anyone is staying over and wants to go to a firework display, probably London's best is in Battersea Park, little bit of a trek but fireworks start at 8 so plenty of time to get there, you won't be disappointed.
