| Was it really? From a Leeds point of view, I thought we were outstanding, and squeezed the life out of Cas. However, I've been reading some quite bizarre posts on social media, that go as far as 'Leeds shouldn't have even been there' and 'Cas v Hull would have been a cracker'. I'll put it down to fans of other clubs just gutted that they weren't participating then?

| It wasn't a great game due to the handling errors. Somehow, I think the people saying this would have a different view had the game been of the same quality but with a cas win.

| From some of the posts I read on other boards about the final beforehand, I think other fans are getting a bit sick of us winning it all the time.
Tough! We had our fun, and that's all that matters.

| For a neutral, I'm sure it was not the most thrilling of games. For those of the orange and black persuasion, well let's just say it didn't go with their script. But as a Leeds supporter, I thought it was a cracking game. We took it to the favourites from minute one and they had no answer. If I was a Cas fan I'd feel let down in the final but proud of the season their team had and there will always be ifs and buts. But for the next 12 months we are the Champions of the Super League.

| That's the joy of winning the Grand Final. There's no next week. No possible defeat looming to spoil the mood. We're Champions. Again.

| Was it balls. Far too much is being made of the amount of errors without taking into account just how much it rained (I don’t think it came across on tv), the fact you have 2 teams who like to use the ball (Cas like to pass, we like to offload either out of the tackle or just when we’ve got our noses through the line) and the ball which both coaches have complained about.
A decent proportion of Cas’ errors were due to Leeds outstanding performance

| It probably was one of the poorest from a neutral view. Tries were mostly scrappy and a ton of knock ons. Just thinking of other GF's, last years wasn't anything special and 2014 post Flower send off wasn't much.
Thought it was arguably the best atmosphere-wise in the Leeds end even before kick off and continued on into the first half, perhaps the nothing to lose attitude was taking over compared to much tenser finals of previous years.

| Funny that people say Leeds shouldn't have been there. Cas only made it because Mark Percival couldn't kick. Worst? No. We did a job on them. A proper cup tie. 42 grand final rings to nil. The experience showed.

| It is funny that people say we shouldn't have been there, we finished 2nd so surely we should've been one of the two teams there? Yeah when we finished 5th i get the gripes but not this year (yes Hull were great in the cup but their league form left something to be desired). For all the talk of how we struggled vs Cas in the league we had a very strong record vs the other near challengers
I think we were 9 from 12 from the other playoff contenders in Hull, Saints, Wigan and Wakey and one of those we put the kids out vs Wigan.

| The 2009 final was a pretty poor spectacle from memory. In terms of real quality 2004 was very good, 2007 Leeds were very good, 2012 was very entertaining as well. Despite being close I'd say the 2015 final wasn't that good either. Finals are often disappointing from that perspective - the NRL GF may have been better quality but as a spectacle was over before half time.

| It was teeming it down all game so was very unlikely to be a classic anyway. Thought we played the conditions similar to some of those nights against the great Saints team and Cas were never able to get close to that level on the night hence the reasonably comfortable win for us.
I can see why it would be an instantly forgetable final for the neutral though.

Only the weather, Maguires offside try from Moons high kick , Briscoes forward pass try & Mcguire punching the ball out of Edens hands as he was about to score stopped Cas winning .. 1 win against us in 9 games . We look forward to trouncing you again next season a few times especially without your smuggy half back pairing leaving and you haven't replaced them with anyone of note .
Wow

| Unfortunately, In the heady days of social media you will always see this kind of warped view look like it’s the more popular as it’s so extreme. People just can’t compute that you are not champions if you DONT win the grand finals (you ain’t “league” champions either btw, your league “leaders”)
ATEOTD Cas naively tried to play dry weather RL in the pouring rain,Period. There was no plan b, they also treated the final as a normal league game and repeatedly spurned easy points from kicks that we would have taken.
Experience beats out naivety, that’s not arrogance, that’s a fact. We had a game plan they couldn’t handle, yes the conditions played a part but we were into them from the off, we rattled them, we harried them, we forced them into mistakes and kept turning the tourniquet till they broke.
Clutching at straws looking for excuses does them no favours after such a fine season, but as I said at the beginning, there are a lot of Cas fans who have begrudgingly given Leeds the kudos for getting the job done.
