| Dont know what to think about Friday.
Watching Wigan V Saints it was clear Wigan have stepped up a gear in physicality, some of the hits were brutal.
We have been caught out and bullied by physical teams too many times this year, and Wigan will (or would) definately do that come Friday.
In a way I was slightly looking forward to the game to see how we cope with the physicality they seem to bring lately but also the fast flowing link up play Tomkins brings around the back. Im just hoping that regardless of the poor performances we have shown lately we give ourselves a kick up the backside and put a mighty effort in on Fri nite!
Slightly disappointed now that Wigan are missing a large majority of their pack which means If we now somehow should manage to win, theres a bone fide excuse right there.
Looking forward to a cracking game regardless!

| We win, its due to the decimation of their pack by the beaks.
They win and we'll never here the end of it. Ever.

You can only play what is in front of you. And whilst Wigan fans may well try and get an excuse out of it if Leeds win, there really is no excuses for Leeds if they lost. Playing a depleted pack on your own patch, should result in only one thing, no matter who you are playing.

| Don't worry about the lack of physicality ..... somehow McIlorum escaped punishment and there will still be Thomas Leuluai out there mixing it with his cousin.
The Wigan absences only make the situation worse IMO. Forget the performance, it's surely another must win game for Leeds.
Leeds' best result against Wigan in their last five meetings was throwing away an eighteen point lead and spawning a draw. If not Friday then when will they turn that sequence around?

| First and foremost we need to play for the full 80 with a good structure and composure with and without the ball.
Now we know who the official is so no excuses for cheap penalties for me we need to replicate the Manly/Wire performance defensively and then hopefully take our chances from there.
They may have a depleted pack but ALL their pivots are playing and i remember when a young Pie team went to Knowsley Rd a few years ago and they were expected to get 50+ on them but the result was completely different.

The 6 we can put out as starters in the pack can compete. The problem will be from the bench which will be young and untried. I expect you to pull away around the 50 minute mark.

| Wigans starting pack will be strong but will lack aggression and physicality in the second row with Farrell and Hughes the likely starters.
Hock and Hansen are huge for us and there's now a massive burden on guys like McIlorum, Lima and O'Loughlin to play long minutes which may cut back their ability to really get the aggressive defence going.
It should be close but Leeds would be hugely dissapointed to not get over the top of this Wigan pack especially considering we'll probably have a couple of 18/19 year old kids (one on debut) on the bench.
Close for 60 mins with Leeds to pull away late and win by 12 IMO.
