Very strong is that squad, especially with Ward, Mullally, Smith and Oledski not involved.

| Just seen the tries on Rhinos YouTube channel. Some nice scores, especially liked Ryan Hall's try.

| Also we look like we have potential to be an exceptionally hairy team this season. Maybe Kallum should regrow his afro

| Loved Ferres in involvement for the Hall try, Big Keiths involvement for the Briscoe try and nice work around the ruck by Falloon for his try.
Goal kicking needs work. But we know this, Kev took time to get his strike rate up.

| On the two home performances so far, goal kicking would be the last of my worries. I would certainly change my prep if I was coach, and have a few first teamers playing Sunday at Featherstone.

| A lack of a decent goal kicker is a worry to me as this will make the difference in tight games. Neither Hardaker nor Sutcliffe look natural goal kickers and our best kicker Lilley may be sometime off securing a starting position. Burrow's long term hamstring problems seem to prevent him from taking the job on.
Golding continues to impress and both he and Lilley look to have bright futures in the game

Let's hope Leeds can hold onto both of them. In my prescience I see them as Leeds' future half back pairing (McGuire and Burrow are yesterday's men in 2017) - providing we can also hold onto Hardaker at FB.
In all seriousness there doesn't appear to be many from here that attended the Bradford match - such a dearth of after match comments. Or have Juan's diatribes/endless battles with all and sundry scared most contributers away?
In fairness from the highlights online Burrow looked as sharp and as threatening as he has ever been.....mostly out of dummy half it has to be said.

| I went yesterday and was disappointed for Ablett that the crowd wasn't bigger.
It was an excellent afternoon for rugby - I used to love such days in the era before super league.
A word of commendation to the groundstaff, considering the amount of rain we've had & the number of RU games played on it, it looked very good.
Re the game itself, Burrow looked very lively & seems to have lost none of his zip.
Singleton charged on to the ball at a good pace & Garbutt looks raring to go, our new Kylie or even Barrie Mac.
The Bulls offloaded excellently & made a good game of it, the score was closer due to our failure to convert our tries. I wonder if Zak is trying to kick the ball too hard but his kick offs were as difficult to deal with as ever.
He was safe as houses again under the high ball.
Briscoe looks back to his best & Ryan Hall was, well Ryan Hall.
McGuire made & scored the first try through his quick thinking, spotting a gap on the short side (blind side).
Watkins handling was iffy at times but he's great to watch once he has the ball in hand.
I worry that Ferres is a bit of a penalty machine but otherwise a great acquisition.
Galloway I'm not sure about, not a worldbeater but I don't think he'll let us down.
Falloon looked ok but only played about half the game - I think Burrow played the full 80.
It was good to see Sutcliffe back.
Golding continues to impress & both he & Handley have benefited from a full off-season.
Lilley wasn't on long enough, I'd have liked to have seen him & Sutcliffe on together more.
I though Achurch went ok, with his size & pace he can be a handful if he stays injury-free.
Bradford will I think go well in the Championship.
Roll on Feb 4th.

He was great individually at times, as was McGuire too. As a link for the rest of the team they were poor though, and that is the problem. We have fantastic backs, we have a very good pack. If you can't get them linked together then the team will suffer.
I would have Sutcliffe definitely playing on Sunday to get him fitter quicker. Oh, and Walters is absolute garbage, really sorry but he is.
