There isn't another club in SL that could be without 10 first team regulars and win away from home. Our youth development is the best in the country by a ridiculous distance.
19 Times Champions. Wigan RLFC
Really?? I don't post very often and rarely take much notice of them fools from the red rose county but deary me they really think they are the only side in RL.

Oh jeez.
It's irrelevant. Who gives a f*ck if they can choose to play a weakened team at widnes and win. It's won't mean a thing when it comes to the playoffs and actually winning the grand final. We have quality not quantity. We have consistently produced a small group of players, which consistently win grand finals.
Half of those youngsters will probably be at widnes in 5 years, they do the rest of the league a great service.

| There are a lot of sensible Wigan fans who know a lot about Rugby League. Not many of them seem to post on here though.

| Like I said pal I don't really comment on here but these bums get right on my tit$. A friend of mine is a Wigan 'fan' and he text me last night saying there's not a team in this league to stop us. They came up against a half decent side for the 1st time in weeks when they played Leeds and were very lucky to get a result. Flat track bullies that's all they are blowing away poor sides.

They're an embarrassment the ones who do.

They seem to try tp put games to bed in the first 20 minutes, and then the other team cowers and it's plain sailing. Sometimes they will rack up a score or sometimes the intensity drops and you end up with a scrappy low intesnity 36-12 type of game with the bulk of wigans points in the first half.
They've tended to follow this pattern since 2010 when maguire took over and it's why phil clarke is always pulling stats and rabbiting on about how good they are in the first 20 minutes.
If you look at their 2 trophy wins during that time, both were built upon this. In both the grand final 2010 and CC final 2011 they were 16-0 up inside the first 25 minutes.

To be perfectly honest over the last 3 weeks the better side over 80 minutes have lost against them. I went to watch them at Wakey with a pal of mine and they really didn't deserve to win. Lets not go there with the obstruction last night!!

| There is no question that at the moment Wigan are winning, but I am not saying they will not win anything this year, but it is the end of the season that it counts. Last year they were on a similar run and then they meet Leeds In CC semi and Play off semi and lost both. Two years ago nobody said the Wire could be stopped, till they meet Sir Kev. Remember at Manchester they could have lost if had not been for the man in sky strange decision. They could get a crop of injuries. Remember he who laughs last, laughs the loudest.

| Remember not too long ago Leeds played almost a complete team of academy players against CAS and won. That was in the day's when Wigan were full of under achieving overseas players and local youngsters couldn't get a game

You're on the wind up as no Wigan fan thinks this. We're all amazed we are playing so well after losing so many stars last season.

Yet we still beat you. And have won 13 games in a row.... They must of all been rubbish!
There's plenty of good teams this year that have massive chances to win it this year, Hudds,Wire,Wigan,Catalan and the champions Leeds.

You're right and they were dark days for Wigan.
Getting rid of quality youngsters to bring in over the hill Aussies was a real stain on the club but thankfully those days are long gone.

I just think it's nice to see the obsession with Wigan that some Leeds fans appear to have. It shows we are doing well.

| I think there is a bigger question to be asked about Wigan
Has anyone found a better way to get in/out of the bloody place?
