| Can't agree with Eddie and stevo though. The hair cut is not the reason we are losing. Won't have effected us at all. Apparently according to stevo raising money for charity is unprofessional!

Got to agree, it was embarrassing when they said that.

Frustatingly it was said by an awful lot of people in the stands too. Anyone who thinks the result tonight had anything to do with anyone's hair is an idiot

| I was worried the 'red hair dye' suggested a 'fun' mentality, not a serious one. The attitude was wrong from the start - how often does a side concede a penalty on the first tackle of the game? Red hair or not, our attitude was awful regardless of how good Saints were - we didn't play like we were taking the game seriously or prepared to work hard at it.
On a different point, the worst bit of the commentary was their implied belittling of our Grand Final win - if Shenton/Wellens had stayed on would Saints have won? Nonsensical and disrespectful.

I know stevo isn't a expert when it comes to hair and it will have been a fair few years since he visited a barber shop but how long does he think it takes to dye hair. They haven't spent all week faffing round with their hair. Usually these things are good for team spirit and lots of teams do this. It didn't do Wigan any harm when they sported the tashes

| Whilst I don't think for a second that the hairdo's had any impact on our performance at all, the one thing worse than being emarrassed the way we were tonight is being embarrassed and looking like idiots in the process. Whilst I don't fully agree with Eddie and Stevo, I think turning up to a game looking as stupid as Leeds did tonight actually is quite unprofessional - there were many other ways we could have raised money for charity, surely they could have found a better way than this? Whilst I don't doubt Leeds' professionalism and preparation as a whole, I found it very hard to take them seriously looking like that - it just didn't look right at all. Gimmicks like these often seem to have a habit of coming back to bite you on your a$$ - I seem to remember the Bulls players running on to the pitch in shades at Odsal once, as part of a "Men in Black" gimmick - all looked a bit stupid when we handed their a$$es to them that day, and in the same way, the Leeds players trudging off today looking the way they did made us look more stupid than we usually would have done after such a defeat. Each to their own of course, and I'm sure there are many who found it fun - I'm just embarrassed that the Super League and World Club champs were not only embarrassed on the pitch on live tv, but also looked like fools in the process

Rather than " finding it fun" they raised money for alot of worthy causes. Yes they looked silly in their hi vis pink hair but it isn't about being embarrassed alot of the money raised is well spent and goes to people who desperately need it.

| I have no doubt they raised a lot of money for very good causes, and would always applaud such a thing. However, I'm sure they could have raised just as much money by doing other things which wouldn't have resulted in them looking as daft as they did tonight.

| Playing in a game of professional sport in front of a large crowd and featuring Live on TV whilst having bright pink hair would not aid your mental preparation and focus for the task in hand. It was a stupid thing to do, i don't for one minute think that was the reason we lost, but i do believe it had a bearing on the manner in which we lost.
Raising money for a good cause is great, doing it in a manner in which compromises your mental state before & during a game in which attitude is paramount is not great.

| Well it never harmed Scott Donalds performance. in all seriousness it was for a good cause, and I doubt they would have made as much money if they would had decided to have worn a red band, or something like that. I think Peacock's tweets sums it up pretty well.
