| Talk in Oz is that if he can get a multi-year deal on big money, he wants to come to Super league next year.
A fantastic player all round, strong defence, good passing and kicking game, organiser, great engine.. There are some question marks over his attitude in that he's seen as being 'bigger than the club' and knowing better than the coach (general thoughts are he's been the catalyst for a number of coaching departures over the years), but many in the know excuse this as his passion for wanting things to be done right - his fellow players certainly back him, whether that be NSW players at origin level who wanted him in the team even if he'd been demoted to NSW Cup, or the Tigers players who've re-signed with them after his persuasion, or the youngsters who are now holding out to make sure he's staying before they sign long term with the club.
Falloon is only on a 1 year deal, and we've not had enough opportunity yet on the field to see if he's a keeper(though in sure the coaches will have an opinion from training etc). Should we be going all out for Farah? He's likely to require 'marquee' type money (though I'm led to believe Leeds can still afford that type of money on the cap without needing to use the marquee allowance). Thoughts?

| No.If they were to make a marquee signing then a marquee no 6 would be better use of resources and move Sutty to loose IMHO.

| I'd prefer us to sign a world class HB than a world class hooker.
Would Farrah make a good HB?

I'd also prefer a world class HB;I wouldn't want to sign Farah as a HB though.
Cooper Cronk is off contract, I'd prefer to throw the cheque book at him, but it's seemingly ever more likely that he'll commit to Melbourne, whereas Farah is wanting a move to SL so seems more possible.

| Farah is a good player but seems to be at the centre of Wests Tigers off field problems for several years including falling out with a succession of coaches.

| Is there any good HBs available next year in the NRL?
Ones we could realistically get over here?

| Cooper Cronk would be a much better option albeit in a different position.
A 3 year deal on good (but not outrageous) money would be very tempting for him, I'm sure.
At 32 I'm sure very few NRL teams will be offering a 3 year term.
I'm sure the 4 year term was a motivation for Cuthbertson - look how that's turned out!

I think it would take outrageous money to get Cronk. One of the rumours doing the rounds was that Cronk wanted to move from Melbourne to Sydney as his Mrs works in TV and is based there, that's where the rumours of him leaving the Storm came from initially - can't see him up sticking to England if that's the case.

| Farah's on about £500k a year. No way would GH pay that for one player. It could also cause unrest in the dressing room having one player on such an inflated salary (compared to others).

That's right, but talk is that he'll walk away from a final year at that money, for a multi-year deal at a lower value. With the exchange rate and lower cost of living here, you might get him on a 3 year deal in the region of £300/350k per year..... Still mega money for any UK club...

| Like Bullseye says, wouldn't touch Farah with a barge pole.
Let's give Falloon an opportunity to win a longer deal for himself first, before we start recruiting hookers for 2017.
Saints being heavily linked with signing Jamie Soward for 2017, although the player himself has denied it. Bit of a "meh" signing if true.

| I haven't minded the look of Falloon going off his first 2 stints back from injury, looks sharp around the ruck and his distribution looks excellent. defensively not sure yet but like his work rate.
