Well he didn't make the 17 today with Chase and Ridyard preferred, if that continues and along with Rowley's departure then he's not going to stay regardless where he ends up going.

Maybe Leeds can loan him to Huddersfield this year before he moves to the Rhinos for the 2017 season.

Isn't it funny, why would Huddersfield need to bid for Brierley when the clause in his contract states he can now in effect leave the club? There would be no need to bid, obviously a lot more is involved in this, as I have previously stated.

Leighs chairman has publicly stated that the clause allowing Brierley to leave is illegal and cannot be enforced.

As a matter of course all player registrations are held by the RFL, aren't they? So even if Brierley were to walk he couldn't just turn out for another team unless Leigh decided not to contest it.
