Who should/could replace Senior & Peacock when they choose to call it a day?
Do we have players in-house to step up or will we have to recruit?
My thoughts FWIW are that Kallum Watkins will replace Senior albeit bringing different strengths to the position & hopefully one of Pitts/Burgess/Amor will take on the Peacock role.

I'm sure the club will take the right action when it's needed.
Watkins does seem the heir apparent to seniors shirt but if he replicates last seasons form in 2010 don't be too quick to write the fella off.
As for Peacock IIRC he's still got at least 2yrs left on his current deal so i wouldn't expect to see him call it a day any time soon.

If Amor progresses as he's expexted to,expect him to be JP's heir apparent.

Potentially but I don't see Coady or Amor matching the level Senior and Peacock were at.

If I were Leeds I'd be more concerned with what is coming through at half back. Burrow was extremely quiet last year and seems to be struggling terribly with his shins.

[quote:1pqtnbtj]Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. You've made that up. Both bits of it.

Burrow finished the season in fine form culminating in a terrific GF performance. He's 26/27(?) and I doubt Leeds will make the mistake that GB have of discarding him too early.

He will be Leeds scrum half for 4 or 5 more years.

What's that statement based on?
Our halfbacks are 26 & 27 respectively, if we had a bolter for these positions coming through now it would be really hard to keep hold of him/them. That would make life interesting for the management & coaches.
It will be different (injuries permitting) in 3 or so years time and before that for No 13.

Ooops. It was in fact McGuire that has missed games in 3 of the last four years because of shin splints according to Google. But being a midget has got to hurt Burrow.

Both players thrive on their pace and they look a yard slower already. Proof is Paul Wellens giving McGuire a 10 metre head start and catching him after 20 metres. icon_wink.gif

Both will be working for Sky by 30. I'll bet £10 on it now. Feel free to PM me when they turn 30 and are both in the Leeds starting lineup.

Yes because being shorter than the average rugby league player really hurt the careers of Roger Millward and Alfie Langer. Just imagine how good they could have been.

burrow will be fine mate and for quite some time too!
whilst your feeling all concerned about half backs that were extremely quiet last season i'd keep an eye out for that leon chappie,
if you can find him that is icon_lol.gif
