| Anyone watching? Didn't think much to the first episode really. Don't think I learnt anything new.

| I watched it, found it quite interesting. Also shows the couple of previews were cleverly framed as if Cam Smith was having a go at RS when he wasn't, and the clip of Bentley post concussion.
The interesting stuff will be RS getting sacked and BA coming in. The general chat about how hopeful all the players were for the season was a bit boring, as we all know how it ended.
Ultimately, we need more of this kind of coverage in RL, so I hope it does really well. You can see NRL teams all doing documentary style content, and it's become the norm in football and American sports. Fair play to the club for giving it a go.

| I was a bit bored after 20 minutes to be honest. I get the idea but feels like it should be for a team winning the championship, not finishing 8th.
Whilst it was good to see the players optimistic at the start of the year, knowing we ultimately flopped isn't good. It's a bit like when Leeds used to be a force, I would love re-watching the match the next day whereas I don't think I could have put myself through that last year for any match.

| I haven't watched it yet, but I'm glad sky and RL have started to embrace the documentary medium. I'm not a fan of NFL or F1, but the America's game and Drive to Survive documentary series are fantastic. Hopefully, the Spirit of the rhinos documentary will help people interested in the game who may not have considered watching the game before.

| Itโs good, the next episode will be better. It confirmed to me that Smith was out of his depth, he couldnโt see the need for changing his approach when heโd been worked out by the other coaches. Some of the criticisms of him about passive defence were not correct, he had a different plan for sure, around defending kicks etc. but the fact that we couldnโt see what he was trying to achieve must suggest the players were at least a bit confused by it too.
Looking forward to seeing BA arrive, we suspected he stripped back everything to basics and this will show if we were right. RL is a simple game, over complicated by those who donโt see the need to work harder than the opposition to win.

| Rohan is painfully lost in the post game meeting footage.
You can almost see Gary cringing in the background at one point.

| Second episode confirmed again that Smith was a long way out of his depth. I get that you can edit things to make certain stuff appear, but the silence in the changing rooms, the speech by a clearly very frustrated Rhyse Martin, Cam telling the team that heโs sick of hearing it, they all point to a coach who cannot get a hold of the team and narrative.
Iโm bursting to see the next one with BA, I think youโll see a completely different approach.

Couldn't agree more, nothing interesting in there at all. Everyone just watching it and seeing what they want to believe. Pointing to the speech by Martin and Smith as a failure of Rohan Smith; they're senior players I'd expect them to be making speeches.

| So you think a senior pro, going so openly and vocally against what the coach is saying in the dressing room after another thumping defeat is a rousing approval of the coaches tactics and appraisal of performance?

It's far more interesting than watching a winning team. Looking forward to the episodes with Arthur for comparison. Will give us a good insight into next season.

| I'd argue that even the most ardent Rohan fans will watch that and say he looked lost.

| Fascinating watch, and I'm assuming it will be the most interesting of the series.
In many ways, it does confirm a lot of things. RS doesn't seem too bad when things are on the up, and there's decent performances. I wouldn't say anyone watched episode 1 and thought he looks completely incompetent.
As displayed in episode 2, he just didn't have any ability galvanise the team and pull them out of a hole. In fact, he seemed too pre-occupied on trying to be positive than making players accountable.
I think strong teams need to have key players and coaches that players want to play for. We seemed to be lacking a bit of both under RS. We need the players to step up next season in this regard too.
