Is Ackers an organising passing hooker or a runner? We've desperately needed an organiser for years.

Is a bit of both. Knows when to go himself, great at posching near the line, but his distribution and organisation are top drawer aswell.

It's the distribution and decision making which are key for me. If the DH makes duff calls it kills your attack.

We also need to get Croft and Frawley decent service for them to do their jobs otherwise it's a waste. To be fair to Austin and Sezer they were getting the ball around their ears half the time in 2023. We need a hooker who can consistently hit that pocket just in front of the first receiver.

He is a competitor too I think is Ackers, he should fit in well.

Signing Croft was excellent business but to be able to sign his bedded in hooker who hes had feeding him for last few seasons is a masterstroke.
