| Just leave this here just in case the game is on. Huge chance to beat these this week, they have looked appalling against castleford today.

| We could really turn St Helens over or they could rebound and turn us over. Tough one.

St. Helens have played Toronto, Huddersfield and Castleford since the World Club Challenge so I don’t think that can be used.

| Cant start to write off saints yet ,ok they had a great season last year and they've had a change of coach . Remember the way this system works if you're still in the mix come the playoffs which is like another comp you can become champions. Leeds were dismissed as finished ,but won it from 5th twice. However if the game goes ahead I do fancy us to beat them at this stage

| I suspect it’s all moot, no way will this be going ahead, Toronto have now isolated the whole squad, wonder if they’ll get ‘sanctioned’?

They will if the RFL tell them to play and they dont travel.. The fact they have shut their facility down and stopped training suggests theirs may be genuine. We played an 18s game day after ours and had the scholarship training the night we announced we wasnt travelling.

The first team squad would have had to go through 3 countries to play the game, 3 countries all with different guidelines and the team could easily have been stuck in Spain or France, they made exactly the correct decision.
I get the feeling you think they had some ulterior motive for not playing the game? if so what?

I can’t actually see an upside for Leeds in the game being postponed.
We were in good form, the only injury really was Walker which was being covered fairly well and Catalans had Tomkins out. If ever we were going to play them it would be best to play them then and behind closed doors!

Absolutely not. Ive said countless times now that Leeds made the correct decision but the fact remains it wasnt their decision to make. The team had meetings all day Thursday as they didnt want to travel and i dont blame them one bit for that. A decision was made late on Thursday night the team would not travel even though the RFL instructed them to as no player had been diagnosed.
People are berating the fact that the RFL have mentioned possible sanctions but they have no option but to investigate the case as the governing body.

I think this helps our cause. The RFL have no choice but to call off their fixture now. The only way they're going to save face is by finding us guilty and the punishment being a suspended sentence.

I also agree with what you are saying Marty.
Without doubt the most logical decision to make but the RFL needed to make it.
Had Leeds traveled and got stranded in Spain then we could hold them responsible.
NZW also now stuck in Australia with one players wife due to give birth this week.
Bet their not a happy bunch.
