As this impacts Leeds as well as Fev am putting the link up here. Think this has been fairly well known for a little while now but confirmation he's returning to Australia for family reasons. Had a tremendous year at Fev.

Firstly hope the family reasons aren't too serious, secondly the team should be appointing specialist attack & defence coaches.

From our perspective of maybe losing Carr as Assistant, this is disappointing.
Getting the right senior coaching staff in place is just as important as getting the next couple if player signings right.

We have not had a really good assistant coach for about 8 years, we must appoint a really good assistant for next year, chev walker is glorified water carrier, Burrow is maybe a couple of years off as is cuthbo who has done a great job with womens team, playing some lovely rugby. Carr seemed ideal fit, hopefully can get a really good replacement an up and coming coach from championship or Nrl reserve grade.

Carr was highly regarded by the players he coached and Leeds, but if he's going home, so be it.

He's the coach of Fev, so it'd make sense to have him involved in some capacity.

Like I said last week Carr was heading home probably as an assistant coach.
Carney spoke about it after the Toronto game.
Maybe if Agar fails Carr will come back as first team coach if his family issues are resolved?
Is Poching worth a shot as assistant or has he now got a gig?
