| So Sinfield took one look against Cas, and took decisive action.

| He is a welcome addition at Odsal and will give Chisholm & Keyes some competition in the halves.
Is he ever going to get a decent run of games at Headingley? His face doesn't appear to fit under McDermott or Sinfield/Lowes.

| Lilley is a long way off Super League quality, he needs a good few years playing in the lower leagues to try and develop his game

I put on here a few weeks back after I went to the Feb v Batley match, that I was speaking to Davide Longo, he said exactly that he needed two years in the Championship to make a name for himself.

| I like Lilley, he's a decent player. But if Leeds aspires to win another fistful of GFs in the next decade then we need someone better. Harsh, I know. His effort cannot be faulted. Maybe 2 years at a lower level will bring sufficient improvement but my guess is we'll be essentially seeing the same player.

| We should let this lad go and earn his living somewhere where he is wanted.

| The oddest thing was signing him up for three (?) years earlier this year given that nobody seems to have shown much faith in him at all.

| very few players have left leeds and gone on to be better players but the ones that did have had to because better players blocked their path
moving to the lower leagues didn't hurt gale or mcshane and even after this loan has finished he is still a leeds player so if he is ripping it up at bradford then a chance at leeds might come

| That's all very well, but the more likely reading of this is that Leeds just don't rate him now, and have to pay some of his contract because he'd be on more than the Bulls could pay. They are still able to hedge their bets in case he comes good, but he's played over 40 games and this is his 4th season. You'd think he'd be showing enough to be kept in the top 25 if they really thought he was going to make it.
Like I say the weirdest thing is the reasoning behind gibing him a 3 year deal, then not playing him, and now sending him off for a year at least - who made the calls and what's changed?

| Very honest interview. Whatever anyone thinks of his ability and potential, the current system badly let’s players down like him not being able to play regular games at some level. The same is true of many 19s lads too.
