| Can't blame him. Always been a fan but not getting enough game time.

| Hardly surprising. He'll be 28 by the time next season begins, and it's obvious Leeds can't guarantee him a starting place. Also, with Newman emerging he'd be a pretty expensive back up.

| I really like him as a player and can't blame him for moving on. He's one of those unfortunate players who's neither one position or another, but is a smart player and has certainly never let Leeds down. I can't recall who said he'd never make a SL player, but I think he long ago proved that wrong.

I think a few said it, including myself. Long since admitted i was wrong though and he has been more than a worthy squad player for the last few years.
He has a very good attitude and will serve Hull KR well without doubt, good luck to him.

| I think the problem originally was that he was just a centre, and so was compared to the best in that position, when physically he's clearly not in the same league as a Senior, Watkins etc. Same when he first switched to second row. He's probably one of those players who has overachieved - I can certainly think of a few far more naturally gifted players who've delivered far less than he has.

| Still would have him alongside Watkins. Handley has done ok but at this moment in time would prefer Keinhorst.

I said it, and I still maintain it. Would never have hit first team without McDermot who is always looking for a project to try and prove something, rather than concentrate on real quality. Keinhorst is nowhere near the player some fans fantasy has created. He is hard working and gives his all, and that’s about it. Championship Rugby yo yo to Super League club is probably his right level. But as a squad player I accept he is a useful player, far from the worst we have had for that role.

| With ablett Delaney jjb and ferres likely to retire/leave and moons future uncertain. I think keinhorst would have been a great successor from within.

| That's kind of what I mean. His role at Leeds now is strictly limited apart from starting centre. He'd make a very good bench player but McDermott clearly prefers Dwyer plus three big forwards there. I think he's far better than a 'project player' though.

He's more than a project now, that fully accepted, and good luck to the lad for the work he put in. The comment was more that without the McDermott project player thing he never would have got close to this standard of rugby. It was a gamble, that in all fairness to McDermott, and Keinhorst work, paid off to an extent.

| I don't agree with the assertion that he's not got a position. I think he's an out and out centre, and that's where his future lies. He's got good feet, hands and has deceptive turn of pace. He lacks power, but makes up for it with ability to pick a running line. He can do a job in the back row, but his lack of physicality would be exposed over the course of a full season in that position.

| Keinhorst is one of my favourite Leeds players. He gives his all and only time I can think of him having really struggled was after he returned from the hand injury. During 2016 his effort and determination stood out. Often tackles way above his weight, not massive "hits", but effective "copy book" tackles. I think it is a shame he hasn't had the opportunity at Leeds to move his career forward and I would absolutely wish him all the best at KR.

| What a shame. One of the stand out performers of that 2016 season.
