| No secret really. But to get an NRL gig he'll have to churn out top performances with us

| Really don't no why we have signed him, unless GH has a hooker lined up for next season

That was my thinking, and if he does get a contract late in the year to go back to the NRL we would be left scratching around in the bargain bucket again or worse maybe forced to retain Falloon.

I felt that Falloon whilst not top class has started to show some potential recently.
Considering what is/might be available next year he might be our best option unless we are signing Clark of course!
Mitch Rein would do from the NRL and I still think O`Brien at Bradford could do a job for us.
Other than that get Keinhorst trained up as hooker for next year.

| Give the guy time to experience the culture at the club - who knows, he may well change his mind... Perhaps less likely this season than in previous seasons, but if the team continues winning, why not?

Don't think we will be seeing him after season finishes.'"
You may well be right, but when I read his comments, it didn't sound like he was overly optimistic about his chances of finding a spot in the NRL.
"I want to get back to that form that I believe I can get back to and hopefully come back to the NRL," Segeyaro told Channel Nine on Monday night.
"I have never been in this situation before, a club never wanting me. I was shocked to be in reserve grade ... they said it was best for me if I leave the club."
"We were trying to find different clubs (in the NRL). But everyone else has three or four hookers."
As Stevosfalseteeth pointed out, he'll have to work hard for us to put himself in the shop window. IMO that would work for us for a year.

| I always have the same issue with these type of signings. We have signed a player who doesn't want to be here.
Maybe he will change his mind but more likely is if he stays it's because he can't get an nrl gig right away.

| As I said early in the other thread, it's my worry too.
If he leaves at end of this year we might be able to convince Falloon to play on, have another signing planned or scrape the bargain bin..but if he leaves early to mid 2017 we will be without anyone for the rest of that season.

| thought he had a deal if a club comes in for him from nrl before December he could leave, if not he was to stay till end of 2018. Melbourne storm struggling to balance cap and blake green looks like the one to leave hull being linked

| We definitely need one of our more mobile forwards to be able to fill in. Keinhorst could be a bolter as he clearly has a good rugby brain. If Luke Briscoe is retained I'd want him to be able to play there as well.
Segeyaro may want to stay in the NRL, but his form has been poor this year and the photo taken of him, Norman etc with a bunch of wannabee Sydney gangsters will have put off most Sydney clubs as its contact with those idiots that the game is desperately trying to avoid. He'd probably be better off knuckling down for a full season then looking at going back in 2018 IMO.

Yea lucky for us the NRL seem more bothered about their image than the players ability
We almost could've got pearce because some wanted him sacked for getting drunk and making a fool of himself!
If they don't break the law or make a racist comment or something then who cares
I would remind you that arguably the best player ever in Andrew Johns used to go out and get absolutely hammered pretty much every weekend and often took recreational drugs, didn't seem to effect his performances too much
