Heard that he's turned down a new deal at Cas, and it's almost a done deal. I don't post much on here, so if people think it's b***ocks then fair enough. I'd be happy if it is true, and as a former Leeds player now on the playing staff at Cas has said this himself, I've no reason to believe it isn't.

I don't know mate, it's just what I've been told. I'm not one to claim 'to be in the know', I'm just saying what I've heard from a player at Cas, and obviously they'll know more about it than me. Like I say, I hope it's true.

No this one sounds very plausible indeed and heard before he would like a crack at Leeds and hopefully does happen. It's the ones that aren't plausible that get picked up on.....on the subject of BS rumours, anyone hearing the one about a Leeds player joining the Brett Ferres/Justin Carney club.

It almost looks inevitable that Gale will go back to the Rhinos unfortunately
Word doing the rounds is that Gale isn't too happy with contract negotiations with regards to what the club are currently paying Ben Roberts and that his contract is well below what they are paying him

The obvious other rumour doing the rounds ATM is that Daryll Powell is high up on the radar of the Rhinos club to be their head coach next season

Btw Im not overly optimistic this is true
- its unlikely that they would announce it mid season if it is true
- I dont know where the space on the cap would come from, unless some other rumours about Watkins or Hardaker are true
- Mags and burrow on contract for next year, meaning we would have 5 halves in a 25 man squad- although that would be solved by classing burrow as a (backup) 9 and possibly loaning Lilly out for a year to a top championship club or struggling SL club until Mags retires

So unless Cas have given him permission to talk to other clubs, any approach would be an illegal one. Certainly wouldn't be any kind of public announcement.
