Well considering Galloway had been strangling Tamou on the ground, he probably was expecting at least a slap... I doubt Tamou was expecting to receive a haymaker from a player who had nothing to do with the incident, and who he wasn't even looking at.

Garbutt should get a hefty ban, but probably won't because the incident won't receive the media scrutiny of the Flower one.

Not excusing him at all but there is a slight difference between doing it in first few minutes of a game at 0-0 and doing it in the last 10 minutes when the game is well gone.

Most people didn't have a problem with Flowers first punch (sin binning would be right) second one is like nothing else we've seen on a pitch in recent times.

there was nothing wrong with the Tackle on Tamu...a couple of pushes down on the chest to hold him down a bit longer, but a perfectly decent three man tackle.

if everyone throws a punch after being held down in a tackle there would be no one left available to play the game....
