| Makes much more sense than having them at Hunslet.
A higher standard, more competitive and a better grounding for SL.

| Happy with that.
Better for Lilley, Golding, Baldwinson to play for them rather than playing in league one. Be interesting to see which of the under 19s play for Hunslet though as the article seems that they'll be called upon by Hunslet.

| Great stuff. Gives us flexibility as to who plays where and obviously Fev is a much higher standard than at Hunslet. Exactly what you would think the likes of Golding, Handley etc need. Regular gametime against men but not the full pressure of playing for Leeds in front of 15k. Ensures they'll be as ready as possible if/when injuries strike.

| Surprised it's allowed given that there is a slim possibility that leeds could play fev in the middle eights

Duel registered players finishes on round 23 and then only Players hat have been played at Featherstone would be eligible for them in the super eight qualifiers. If they played for Featherstone in the qualifiers, they cannot then play for Leeds again that season, becomes virtually a loan after round 23.

Yes but just suppose that Leeds needed a win against fev to avoid relegation, it could become a factor. I'm saying this in general rather than leeds specific, there is nothing to stop the perennial struggling teams from tying up with a championship team and then possibly facing them in the middle eights.

Not likely though, is it?

| I like dual registration. But it's a step backwards for Handley and Baldwinson. They should both be playing super league next season. I'd be happy if they went on loan somewhere like Cas or Hull KR. Fev will be good for the likes of Golding and Lilley. To see if they can cut the mustard in a tough league. Also, in a selfish way dual reg is good for players coming back from injury

Why not, if one SL team has a Dual reg with a Championship team, don't you think that most of the others will follow. At some stage there will be conflict of interest if that happens.

| I would rather see an u23's league for all super league clubs. Players can still go on loan to championship clubs if they are to be playing week in week out.

But isn't it actually better for say Ashton Golding and Ash Handley to be playing open age rather than u23's?

I think he was meaning it's not likely Leeds will be in that position.
But either way it's just an arrangement that has to be made between the DR partners.
If the SL club withdraws all its players then it'll antagonise it's Championship partner. Do that too often and they'll lose their Championship partner.

But I'm thinking of a situation whereby, suppose Wakefield have a DR agreement with Bradford. They both end up in the middle 8's with Widnes. It's the last round and Wakefield are in 4th spot and Widnes are 3rd on the same points. Wakefield have to play Bradford.
Now this situation is feasible if all SL teams DR with Championship teams. Whether anything is "agreed", there will always be the accusation flying around if Wakefield get the win that gives them safety.
