I haven't been following League for long. I came to it late in 2005 when my big brother (mr southstander) talked me into spending a cold wet Friday evening with him in the South Stand. 10 years on I am on my way to Old Trafford once again. My big brother tells me I am lucky. I wasn't following the Rhinos in the bad old days when Leeds struggled to get away from the bottom of the table and the days before it became Super rather than just League. But heading back to old Trafford again this time feels different. My first season of watching Leeds was the last season Barrie played. Lots of good players have been and gone in the last 10 years. This year though feels strange, I am sure many or most of you have felt this before but it is new to me, the first time 'end of an era' has really felt like that. Win or lose tomorrow, I am not sure I am ever going to feel like this again.

For those with far longer investment in Leeds than me is this just another passing out of some of the old guard or is this bigger than that. Is this the biggest game in a generation?

I would say so. I was a 'casual fan' watching on TV from 05-12 and had a season ticket since 2013 so it certainly feels for me / us who have been around for less time that it is huge...

Maybe those who have been there and seen it before might see it differently - but 'absolutely' for those who have followed them for between 3 - 15 years or so.

Biggest game since 2004 for me. End of an era, against our biggest rivals at the minute, packed house - can't wait!

Well it's the biggest gate for quite a while.
I'm sure it will live up to expectations and I just hope there aren't too many contreversial decisions and that the best team wins on the night.
As much as I respect JP (I'm 57 and he's the best British prop I've ever seen) I just hope we spoil his farewell game.
Enjoy the match and keep the faith

Same. I haven't been this on edge since 2004.

Win or lose there'll no doubt be a few tears shed tomorrow.

Could be. If they win this then I think it'll be their greatest achievement.

If we do lose though I'll walk away from Old Trafford a very proud and honoured supporter to have witnessed two of the greatest careers in RL and Leeds history (and Leuluai has been pretty bloody good too).

Ive been watching since 1987 when i was 13. Its a massive moment to lose one player whos played for as long as Sinfield, but to lose three icons and certainly two legends means it is as big a game as youll see in the next ten years at least. Such a massive emotional investment as well in Sinfields time as captain and Peacock dragging us to the summmit time and again.

The chance of the treble, Kevin Sinfield's last ever game for Leeds, he's been captain since he was 20 years old. That is some going. Jamie Peacock and Kylie's last games ever period. Facing perhaps the toughest test for you guys in a GF for quite some time. One that has a very real possibility of you losing. Your first GF in three years. It's definitely a biggie. Even as an outsider I can feel the tension you all have this time around. It's going to be an absolute belter and I'll be in your corner (literally) come kick off.

Feel ill to be honest , whatever happens i'm afraid i will not enjoy the game , maybe i will feel a bit better after a couple of pints but then need to make sure not too many . The only part i would enjoy is after the hooter has gone if we are the winners . 5 a.m and can't get back to sleep , by my own addmission i am a born pessemist and just feel tonight is one game too far . I think with full squads and if both teams were fesh we are better than them , but with the three pack guys out and Delaney and Watkins no where near fit and the slowing the tackle down tactics that Wigan will use may make it a tough night . Bowen and Williams are in fine form and need to be watched along with Burgess who is a fantastic talent . Maybe just got that one hope that for one last time this great team of ours can pull it out of the fire . After years of dissapointmens i feel so lucky to have witnessed the last dozen years and would feel that a win tonight is a victory for all the guys who have played in that period . A lot has been spoken in recent times about the Rugby Gods , well please tonight i am praying for one last time be with us the Rhino's .
Whatever happens tonight will not define how we feel about Sinny and J.P or Kylie for that matter it would with a victory though be the icing on the cake . So good luck to everyone , sing your hearts out and lets pay tribute to the end of an era that i for one never imagined could ever happen .

I think even if you are finding it tough out there tonight with the tide against you, last week proved that all it takes is one moment of magic to get you out of a hole (Sinfield 40/40) I honestly can't see that side letting the treble slip from them. There is so much to go out on here with retirements and legendary status beckoning that I just can't see your guys letting anyone stop them.

Biggest since 2004 for me. Beating the Bulls at OT just two weeks after they schooled us at Headingley for our first championship in decades. The core of that group is still there. They've overcome adversity. 2005 losing both finals, written off in 2007 & 2008, then people calling them not true champions because they didn't win the LLS. So in 2009 they did both and completed 3 in a row. Then all the drama of winning it from 5th in 2011 & 2012. Getting over the mental block and carrying the monkey of never winning a Challenge Cup. So they won it back to back. I don't think we'll ever see another group like this.

It's the biggest game in that we'll witness the end of an era no-one could have imagined when a scrawny kid from Oldham was given his debut by then Coach Dean Bell!
No longer will we see the Greatest ever player Leeds have signed in JP leading from the front as good in the 75th minute as he was in the 1st.
Nor will we see the bone crushing impact of our most successful overseas signing smashing all who stood in front of him with or without the ball.
Then we have the side issues , we are playing arguably the "Form team" our long term Nemesis who we have failed to beat in a Final in 6 attempts which leads us onto it possibly being "7th time lucky which in turn would be Sir Kevs 7th GF victory!
Admittedly i'd feel much more confident with S.Ward ,Aiton and Sutty out there plus although victorious we have looked on our last knockings the last fortnight at the FT hooter.
Biggest ,Toughest and a significant game in the Clubs history it's all there COME ON THE RHINOS!

I've been watching since the mid-80's and I'd definitely say this feels the biggest.

The 94 Cup Final was huge for me, I was still a kid and it was the first time I'd seen Leeds in a final, and this has all the same feelings as that, but with the added significance on Sinfield, JP, Kylie and the treble being on the line.... 2004 was huge - but more when and how the game was won, but we'd been in finals before in the recent past.

And whilst we've been in plenty of finals recently, it's highly unlikely we'll witness a period of unprecedented success with the same core group of players (and mostly Leeds juniors)like we have over the past decade - In particular Sinfield and JP have been a driving force in this legacy and have earned legendary status in the game - for their final game to be a GF against our arch rivals, who we've never beaten in a Final, with the treble and 'fairytale' finish on the line - it can't get bigger.

The real worry is getting beaten by and losing the fairytale ending to Wigan of all teams - it wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't Wigan - I despise them.... The long term rivalry, the heartbreak as a kid of seeing Wigan crush us twice at Wembley, then the 98 Inaugural GF, Tomkins at Wembley, Shaun Wane, their current tactics and team full of grubs..... It's real easy to hate Wigan..... And I mean really HATE them....

Yep, this is the biggest, by a long shot!

This is by far the biggest game in Rhinos history - our first ever opportunity to take the treble with three legends of the Rhinos bowing out.

It does really feel different today - I don't think I'll feel too disappointed if we were to lose. I think the disappointment that would come with losing would be overshadowed by losing our three stalwarts.
