| Place your bets and lets have your theories where's he off to?
According to the BBC, Koukash has said he's put in for a transfer, but says it will take world-record transfer fee.

| St Helens looks a reasonable bet. Fages has the same agent as Sean Long who has previously come out and stated his admiratrion of Fages.
Catalan would also be up there amongst the favourites.

| If Scott Dereux is not going to re-sign at the Dragons then it looks highly likely that Theo Fages would be a perfect fit as his replacement

| I'll bob my two-peneth on St's.
A real shame for Salford if he does go, fantastic talent, but maybe he's come to realize he wants to play rugby on the field, rather than the three ring media circus the doc is running at the moment.

| Now he's got a bit more room under the cap to play with, I wouldn't be surprised if Marwan just made him see out his contract. As for a "world record fee", don't make me laugh.

| Things not quite so rosy over the other side of the hills.
The Good Dr's overpriced signings are either getting the boot, gracing the medical room, on their last legs or jumping ship.
IMO I think Wire would be Fage's next club.

| Can anyone see Leeds being in the chase for his signature?
For mine I have a feeling he'll end up back in the South of France, if not there then Saints. Though it'll be hellish for the Lad to choose which location he prefers

| Where did Fages' "s" go? Did he lend it to Rob Burrows?

Nope can't see us being involved with the race for him.
Could be Catalans because I've read he wants to move now and not at the end of the season and they've just found out Carney is out for another 6-8 weeks (and rumours he'll return to the NRL and also Dureau OOC).
Saints seems to be the strongest rumour yet on the other boards however. Maybe likewise to above, Walsh might be moving on. Their was some rumours he could head back to Australia last year and with more injury issues they might be looking for someone new.
Warrington is a potential because of the rumours earlier in the year about Myler moving on from there.
Would be surprised if it's anybody else apart from those three clubs.

Didn't he say something similar about both Mark Sneyd and Tim Smith?
