| After a lucky comeback against hull KR yesterday, there is a lot of work in training that needs to be addressed. McGuire, Briscoe, Aiton and Singleton were brilliant, but few players didn't do much for me, JJB at prop isn't right and burrow didn't do enough for me.
We need to back to basics this week and work on defence, if not, Widnes could run rings around us after their massive comeback vs Wigan.
I'd like to see us go with:
Hardaker
Briscoe Watkins Moon Hall
Sutcliffe McGuire
Singleton Sinfield Peacock
JJB Ablett
Cuthbertson
Aiton Leuluai Ward Delaney / Achurch.

I personally think the going down to 12 did widnes a favour. You see it time and time again where a team down to 12 play really well.
Hopefully should go well. Personally from your team would drop JJB for ward but can see us using the same 13 as last week

| I watched the Widnes game last week and whilst on one hand impressive to come back like that I think a lot of it had to do with Wigan throwing it away being more interested in messing about.
Think Burrow only started on the bench due to lack of match fitness so could be in the starting 13 this week. Also probably Delaney in for Achurch.

I thought Aiton was one of our brighter players from the word go yesterday. I'd be happy to see him start again.

| If our Coach is to be believed we won't be seeing Delaney till the Giants game at the earliest.

| I think we'll go with the same side again. Hopefully we tighten up our defense and keep our discipline. It was Wigan's poor discipline that let Widnes back into the game.

| I just don't understand JJB at prop. I know its early season, but this would be an ideal game to give one of Yates/Mulhern a run. If BM has any intention on actually giving these lads a go he should start as he means to go on, otherwise we'll be halfway into the season before anyone gets a chance.

| I would go with the same team more or less. With the only difference tinkering with JJB/Singleton, and what to do with Burrow and Aiton. Other than that the only issue is whether he perseveres with Achurch.
I still would like to see McGuire and Sutcliffe together at halfback, but no he won't change that.

| I'd play Mulhearn or Yates instead of JJB also, but to be fair to him he's more suited to playing up the middle now than the back row IMO, and he was pretty good against KR on Sunday by all accounts, but if prop his now his position then I'd say Delaney, Mulhearn and Yates should be in front of him, but it's not daftest decision BM has ever made.
Re : Sinfield at hooker. I'd go with that too, however it's clear BM likes his starting hooker to be a strong physical defender, and I think he views the hooking role more as a defensive one, and not at attacking one. I'ts one of the reasons he didn't rate McShane, and Hood and it's also the reason that I doubt Robbie Ward will get that much game, and to be honest unless he adds on some size I doubt he'll have a future at Leeds under the current regime.

| JJB at prop has probably been determined by the squad Mac has given himself.
kylie and cuthbertson did 3 stints each against KR. So JP is only option now for big minutes/larger stints, so JJB is plugging a hole. Not saying its right, but thats probably the logic behind it.

Delaney back for Round 3 apparently, so likely Achurch to make way.
Against KR he got the token last ten minutes in one stint.

Why can Singleton not do big minutes?
