Attacking structure. Painfully poor. Wigan attack with waves of dummy runners, in set patterns, it's very slick and you are never sure whether it's going to go short or out the back. Systematically create overlaps and tries every time.

With leeds they throw in the odd 1 or 2 single dummy runners and it's blatantly obvious when it's going short or when it's going out the back to hardaker/sutcliffe/sinfield. Pedestrian.

Leigh were better, granted we weren't 'hot' but get over it. We are second in the league, in the semi's of the CC, most clubs would dream to be in this position.

As for attacking 'painfully poor' ? Really? We have a few run of games where we aren't on top form and it resorts to this.

And as for dummy runners, it might as well be an illegal move as the obstruction rule is killing this.

I've been saying this all season. It's just if you say when the team win you're a whino, fi you say it when they lose you're knee jerking.

It's a great term 'knee jerking'. Another personal favourite is the great 'Keyboard Warrior'... and we have MANY on this forum, I usually just read the threads, reminds me of when I was about 8 years old and when loosing or underperforming in one game was the end of the world.

Permit me to state the blindingly obvious , next time up if the giants beat us convincingly the alarm bells will be ringing at full volume.
I never thought the Leigh match would be a blow out,Leigh are a decent side with an intelligent coach.
I noticed at one stage JP and sinfield seemed to be falling out,never a good sign.
Full marks to Leigh especially the fans,memo to bradford bull fans, you can enjoy life outside super league.

I didn't get to even see the game last night on tv but going on what I've seen this year (and going back last year) I've previously mentioned how little/poorly used the forwards are used when we get into the final 20m.

Too easy to just point at pace in halfbacks. Sinfield when with England in the WC helped set up some very good tries for the likes of Burgess and Westwood because you had players doing more off the ball to create doubt in the defenders mind.

What we could really do with is to bring in a new member of the coaching team to work on the attacking part of our game.

A good defence will get you so far - particularly when the conditions are more conducive to your opposition playing safety first rugby - but at some point in time Leeds are going to have to score more than 20-30 points to win a game.

Against good opposition, that looks highly unlikely on current form.

The attack without Burrow is too pedestrian, too predictable and too reliant on a defensive mistake to make a break. New input is needed on the coaching front, as the rigid application of a strategy that isn't working is failing.

New Coaching input as in appointing a F/T assistant?
Nah it will never work this Coach can do it all with some backing from his "as and when" back up!!

Difference between a proper Number 2 assistant like Lowes and another coaching member.

Maybe McDermott did look and didn't interview anybody suitable/right fit so made the decision not to make an incorrect hiring.

Printer there were no interviews he (MC) said jimmy and Eaton would assist as and when along with Plume which btw needs sorting imo.
We are flat ,lack creativity and even more obvious severely lacking any kind of plan B at the moment.
Now fair enough it could quite easily be a blip and time will tell but the need for some "fresh input/ideas" is blatant.

And no, some Rhinos/YEP press release on how "we think this is the right way to go" means that is actually what happened. That would be as daft as believing for certain that Hardaker wrote his statement word for word.
