Another comprehensive win for the Young Rhinos ,Golding ,White ,Mulhern ,Harper ,Handley ,Milton ,England & While.
Jordan Lilley kicked 5 goals.
The Salford lads had a dig but seemed more intent in trying to show how tough they were once they realised they weren't good enough to get the win.
Once again Mulhern ,Ward ,Golding and England stood out whilst Sam Hallas and George Milton had very strong games.

Hopefully the highlights will be on the Rhinos website, Golding is getting big wraps from people who were at the game.

We do seem to have some bright young talent in the U/19s. Goulding looks to have all the skills required to play in several positions and is not just a try scorer but a try maker.

I wasn't that sure about Golding to be honest, but I didn't realise he was only 17. He could go far, but we do have a lot of quality in the FB position at all levels, so it's difficult to see him having a long term future at the club as a full back.

I think his first position is scrum half but is looking good at FB and I think could make a 6 too. To have quality competition in the key positions is important as not all youngsters fullfill their promise at senior level.

There's a few players in in the 19s and the 16s playing in the halves who look great prospects too, whatever position Leeds see him playing long term it will be difficult for him to break through.

with sinfield, burrow and mcguire coming to the end there are places up for grabs in the next year or two

Agreed. These 17/18 year olds could be just ready in time.

I don't know about Golding ever playing Scrum Half but at 17 I can see him eventually taking the FB slot with ZH moving to 6 (or even LC) as was mooted by Daryl Powell when we first signed him.
The best compliment I can pay to Golding is that in terms of his elusive running style and making some great breaks look easy is that he reminds of a young Watkins also he deceptively strong given his slight frame.

Realistically i can see Sinfield and Burrow playing on for another couple of years. Im not so sure about Mcguire.

Add into the mix at FB Judah Mazive (great name) who has scored a number of tries over the last few weeks and were looking well stocked in that position for the future.

Judah is equally effective at scrum half.

He still has a lot to learn to make it though. Exciting talent, but does make a lot of mistakes.
