The article was going along quite nicely until I read the words Kuiti and impressed in the same sentence.
Ali is by far the best Kiwi signing SL has seen never mind the best at Leeds over the clubs duration. Fantastic player and a great crowd pleaser, one of the few players Leeds have had over the last 10 years who gets the crowd on their feet every time he touched the ball.

I suspect there are a few fans close by that would tell you Henry Paul was a far better player. But on a Leeds site we shouldn't expect anything less. |

John Gallagher was as much a New Zealander as Ranghi Chase is English.
Oh, and no, I didn't like that dropped ball. Last minute if IIRC. After the euphoria of us beating Cas the week before with a last minute try aswell. |

Never replaced him
Is it too late to get him back?
Should have signed him instead of Aiton as hooker for all the good that specialist position is under McDermott's jurisdiction. Either way the signing is going to spend his time on the subs bench ( perhaps for the not beyond imagination full 80 minutes )  |
