The thing is about Hetherington, is the one thing above anything he does is put the game first. There have been many occasions where he has put the game as a whole before the Rhinos interests.

I said a few weeks back, personally I think Leeds need a change from his role, but would love to see him running the RFL. He has always being innocative, thinks outside the box, plans for growth, and knows the game inside out. He's forgoten more than people like Pearson and Lenighan will ever know.

If Hetherington is speaking with his Rugby hat on, and telling us these six idiots are causing a problem for the game, then I doubt he is wrong. However, I would say the RFL needs to change.

He's right in that if these clubs have issues, walking out of the meeting is not the way to discuss or solve them. It's pathetic.
The situation and potential courses of action have been discussed for months. Yet suddenly there's something so badly wrong that they can't possibly continue or even participate. If they had a problem they've had months and several meetings to air those problems.
It's a "small-town", unprofessional way of doing things. So naturally is embraced by aspects of rugby league.
