Wouldn't want him anyway. I bet he was one of the reasons Queens were booted!

He's a Thug Pal. More interested in brawling than Playing Rugby. Abit like Hock, and I wouldn't want him either. Just my Opinion of course.

Now he'd be worthwhile (if he could get decent minutes stuck behind Burrow) but we wouldn't have needed him had he signed with Leeds in 2005, we had Diskin ('05-'10) and Buderus ('09-'11) and went well enough.

| He was a complete pr1ck when at Queens. Strikes me as a bit of a knob now as well to be fair.

I love playing for him. I can't praise him enough, I've so much respect for him and I hope he's here for a very long time." Kevin Sinfield 29/9/12:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_68506.jpg |

So it's really about him liking more money and less success than less money and more success.

If you think Bailey is in the same Sh&t Bucket as McIlorum and Hock, you're dreaming Mush.

How do you figure that out?
At the start of 2005, Leeds had featured in two Grand Finals in seven years.
They didn't win another one until 2007.
Bit harsh on McIlorum to suggest that he should somehow have been able to predict Leeds recent run of success when he made the decision to sign for Wigan. Nowhere in the article does it mention money, indeed McIlorum himself says he wanted to move out of Leeds and get a fresh start.
FWIW, I'd have him at Leeds in a heartbeat. Yes he can be a bit of a hothead, but I could see him fitting into the same sort of role that Buderus and Lunt had, starting at hooker then moving into a more floating role when Burrow comes off the bench.

Hock and Bailey are as bad as eachother on the pitch!
McIlorum is no where near as 'thuggish'

| In 2005, when he signed for Wigan we only had the one Super league title to our name and our future run of titles couldnt have been forseen as a given.throw in the fact Wigan always will have the pulling power due to the great success they had in the 90's and they were prepared to offer him better terms and i dont think he can be criticised for the decision he made.Probably did him good moving away aswell.
He also has a super league andchallenge cup winners medal so not too shabby.

Agree with this. At the time we didn't need him, but he is a good player and would easily improve our team as mentioned above.
IMO I think hock, bailey and Mclorum are all similar, in that they all have a bit of an edge to their game and you love them in your team and hate them when they are the opposition.
He reminds me a bit of an old school hooker. They were mostly agressive. And you must have a screw loose to be the smallest bloke in the pack and still mix it with them!
