If it is him then it might explain why his performances upped significantly in the latter part of the season, if it was his last season.

Yeah was trying to think of "West Yorkshire legends", there aren't that many that would fall into legendary status. Especially as he also tweeted to say it wasn't Senior.

In many ways I would be happy for him to retire. It would weaken our team significantly, and we would suffer, but I think a player as great as JP deserves to go out at the top, and with a bang

If it is JP retiring then we must have some significant signings in the pipeline in our pack

Given the hep story surfaced ages before the season's end I very much doubt it (unless there's been another which I've missed). Nor do I think Peacock will be retiring just yet.

When that story was published it stated that whichever player it was hadn't played or trained for his club since the diagnosis. This immediately rules out JP. There is a different Leeds player though who it COULD be, it would explain alot of the subsequent none appearances. When the story broke I instantly thought of said player, however, i could be putting 2 & 2 together and making 5.
