| Two different sources, one a leeds regular first teamer, the other at boardroom level at wakey, give different stories. Player says to hull on 3 year deal, wakefield source says back to leeds. Spoke to peter smith on twitter and he says hull. If true, and i have no reason to disbelieve him, it shows to me that our coach, despite being a prop, is clueless as to what this team needs. Same old next year im afraid

| If Amor is Hull bound then this really doesn't fill me any confidence regarding our recruitment strategy.
I could understand if he stayed at Wakefield but to let him go to another SL club is a travesty.

The clueless bit is Hetherington, not the coach on this one.
How do you let a player sign a contract, then immediately transfer to another club for free with a return agreement if exercised. Only to then change that return agreement to end of season if all agreed. Then Wakefield manage to get a fee for this very same player, who was "alledgedly" still under a contract with us.
Kind of typifies Leeds external recruitment and player dealings over last few years.

| Article in the HDM today (with a few errors to be fair), it claims that we are looking to pay a fee to wakefield for Amor, would that be correct? The dual contract thing is a bit confusing.

Alot of lies in that article. Hes contract up until 2014. His contract with Wakefield started at the beginning of this season as he was on loan last season. The deadline had passed, but was extended, this article doesnt mention anything of the extension.

| Wakey board reckon we're going to use the recall clause, then sell him to Hull.

If a player wants out....
No idea of whether the rumours are true but McDermott would hardly be the first coach to release a player no longer committed to the cause. Maybe this is one of those occasions where no-one's to blame.

| Perhaps if he had played him, as he should, he would have felt wanted. He's better than any prop we currently have

| Not sure what all the fuss is about - he is a very average prop - the fact ours are either past it or not good enough should not detract from that.
I don't see the likes of Wigan, Saints, Warrington jumping through hoops to sign him - or is this an indication of the quality the fans think we should now be attracting?
If Hetherington can get a fee for a player who was pretty poor when he was at Leeds that is good business in my eyes.

| All seems confusing as I thought we "owned" his contract and therefore the fee should be to us.
I can`t for one minute see the logic in letting him go to Hull or Wakefield.
He has shown in the games he has played against us and on Sky that he is a real prospect despite what others on here think.
This could be another Gareth Carvell situation!

| Keeping hold of good young props has never been our strong point. This seems very bizarre.
