| Full bag searches by coach stewards and anything where the seal has been broken will be disposed of before departure.
If you sneak it on and it is then discovered, apparently you will be dumped at the next services.

| Will you really be dumped at a service station? Considering theres no viable walking route from the location other than a motorway I'd suspect its against the law for a tour operator to do this. They have a certain amount of duty of care when a passenger steps onto their coach which would be broken at this point. The only way around it would be for the operator to have them arrested and taken away by the local rozzers.
We smuggled loads of tins and bottles on back when we went down for the 1999 cup final. There was a strict no alcohol rule then but they clocked us and were not bothered. The reason being we had all in all about 4 each all the way there and didnt cause any problems.

Run the risk of breaking the rules? Can be kicked off where the operator wants. Only way of getting home would be taxi.
We've left people who decided to have a scrap at the services before now.

| Once you breach the T&Cs under which you're being carried, you no longer have a valid ticket.
Is it really so difficult to go that length of time without a drink?

I've really never been able to get my head round this. Why is there such an urgent need to drink alcohol at any and all available points of the day? Can you seriously not wait until you're in London? A city I'm assured has several pubs and bars.
It's what annoyed me about everyone who said that Cardiff was fantastic compared to other grounds. What they meant is there's plenty of pubs nearby in which to get p|ssed.
For me, the day is about having a good day out with friends and family to watch the rugby in an iconic stadium in an iconic city. It usually extends to having a couple of drinks. But the key there is a couple of drinks, not 8/9/10.
If I want to get p|ssed I can do it quite successfully at my local and I can also manage to do it without particularly offending anyone else, without being needlessly aggressive and without starting fights.

| The only reason I've decided not to go to Wembley is because a coachfull of drunks landed in the same section as ours at the last final I attended - drunk and abusive when they arrived and continued to drink all the way through the game, insisted on standing up all the way through the game even though no-one else was, and endedup picking fights with anyone who looked at them - a credit to the City of Leeds they were.
And the stewards did nothing, in fact they went out of their way to avoid the section.
There will be no drunks at my house who want me to move while they go to the bar/toilet, stand up in front of me and want to fight me - far more pleasant and civilised way to enjoy a final.

| I recall getting the club coach to Cardiff in 2003 (my last venture on the club travel). Our coach was fine actually, but I do remember a minibus which was near us as we sauntered along in heavy motorway traffic. At about 7am the occupants were waving giddily (not abusively or offesively it must be said) and swiging merrily from cans of Stella. We went past again at about 9am. They were all asleep. One of them with his face pressed amusingly against the window...
Last time I went to Wembley (last year) I got the train from Leamington, which I shared with lots of very civilised RL fans. If I go this time, that is what I will do again.
But I might just get bevvied up and go watch it at JerryChicken's house. I've heard he'll be up for a fight.

First class train from Nottingham. Did it for the England game last year and it was far more civilised than buses or cattle class. More space, quieter and a free cup of coffee. Might even stretch to buying a bacon butty. Superb.

Interesting idea. But I don't live 5 miles of quiet road with a frequent bus service from Nottingham...

| If anyone is near Nottingham and wants to go on s coach trip then Outlaws have a few spaces on the coach. £50 including a ticket and a tshirt. If you already have a ticket we may be able to work something out.
We can drink on our coach too.
PM me for more details.
